My guess is that he was just appeasing them with a "yeah, I know, I know" that he says to EVERY player lobbying for calls.
I hope that you're right, patchick.
Definitely a possibility.

What is he supposed to do ?
I doubt he or any of the other refs saw how Jernigan poked Brady's eye and given what was going on around them at that time I honestly can't blame them too hard on that. If it is subtle enough for all tv crews to miss it, how can you fault a referee who only has full speed and one angle available. To them it simply looked like some pushing and shoving after a failed third down.

When Brady threw pick you can hear him go ballistic ..... Phaaaahhhhkkk
1) Terrell Suggs abuses the mother of his children. Just keep that in mind when you watch him get to play a game for millions of dollars. Only in Baltimore would you celebrate the man.
2) I hope Bill Vinovich saw Brady's eye after the game, because he clearly was prejudiced against our QB going in.
even when baltimore was up 14-0 you hear Suggs say "we gotta play hard for 4 qtrs….. *voice drops*… especially against this guy" (talking about Brady)I love how late in the game you hear the Ravens' defenders saying "Are we trying to go throw for throw with Brady???!!"
Yeah, they believe Joe Flacco is the best quarterback in the NFL all right.
