Not to rain on your parade but welker beat the patriots in last years afccg and will probably be here next week to try again.
Going to Denver has not been bad for him YET
Other than playing with a concussion creating QB.

Welker taking murder balls and getting his back broken by McCourty just to go 1-2 against us, and get humiliated by Seattle.

I doubt he thinks anyone here is that jelly lol

When was the last time we recovered two potentially deadly fumbles in the playoffs? They always seems to go against us.

For what it is worth, a couple of columns from the perspective of Ravens writers.

Film Study: Pats' Adjustments Send Ravens Packing | Russell Street Report
  • The Ravens rushed more than 4 on just 13 of 53 drop backs and surrendered 10.3 YPP rushing 5+.
  • The Ravens were not able to make use of defensive substitution as desired. In particular, Jernigan played just 17 snaps, but collected a sack and a QH when on. Pressure in the middle with hands up is most of what the defense can accomplish versus shallow drops where the ball is out quickly.
  • Dumervil played very poorly, getting almost no pressure vs. Solder or Vollmer. He looks lost in coverage or playing the run. His role can’t be specialized any more than it has been, but he’s as vestigial as your appendix versus a QB who gets rid of the ball quickly.

Report Card: Ravens Squander Two 14-Point Leads | Russell Street Report

Suggs and Dumervil were handled most of the night and Brady got the ball out of his hands quickly, especially in the second half.

. . . . .

Dean Pees did the best he could with what he had to work with and it was almost enough. Kubiak I hope stays and they get some more weapons for Joe and continue to develop this offense. I don’t understand why Jacoby Jones didn’t fair catch the ball with 14 seconds left, if he wasn’t told to do so, he should have been.

McDaniels was brilliant:
"Maybe we should run the ba..."
"No, we're throwing it! Then we give it to Edelman and have him throw it!"

Whether it's injury or whatever, I would play anyone but Jones at this point--you couldn't find as ineffective an edge rusher at this point if you tried. Ayers should be in and Chandler sitting.

Defense worries me--Vince is totally worn down, Siliga and Jones were totally over matched, Ninko had one of his horrible games, Browner will get flagged or burned 17 times if we play Peyton. Hopefully they all have better games next week.

Finally, I agree with the poster who said they need to wake the F up, especially in the first half.
Seen it all too frequently in PO's over last several years. Sleepwalking through a playoff game unacceptable for a NE team that needs another lombardi possibly more than anyone ever has. Mayo loss huge, and yes I'm gonna say it--Mankins wouldn't allow this getting manhandled sh!t. Glad we won. woohoo.

The Ravens have a great offensive that got better with the return of Eugene Monroes. Flacco only got sacked 19 times in 16 games and they blocked well enough for Justin Forsett to gain over 1,200 yards. This was a team whose biggest strengths were its offensive and defensive lines.

The Colts will be a different story.

Listening to Ravens fans on the radio on my commute to DC this morning

One thing I noticed when checking a Ravens forum is that Ravens fans hate Matt Elam. He was the second highest drafted safety on the field (after McCourty, just ahead of Chung), and he was the seventh best on Saturday. Drafting is hard, folks.

Is not. Jamie Collins is a scrub and Belichick should have his head examined.

Colin Cowherds first comments on this game this morning " ooooh man did that feel good. Wow did that feel good". Amen Colin, yes it did.

He was pretty bad this year.
