I say we take the first possession and show them that
(1) we fear no team
(2) A lesson in physicality -- every lineman turns Logan Mankins nasty
(3) Get them to play from behind, so they can be used to it for a full 60 minutes

Tempting but I'd rather the defense set the tone on these bastards right away then use the 2nd half first possession to rip their hearts out

I'm hoping that they can keep their surprises in their pockets til the SB if possible so there's no tape on it. But if they're in a tough spot, by all means, readjust at halftime.

I want them dejected before the half.

But, in truth we tend to start out slow and make good adjustments (so better to get more possessions i nthe 2nd half). Just wishful thinking on my part.
