After the Roethlisberger accident, a joke list went around about what would happen if it happened to other QBs. Pay-me-ton's version was that the NFL would make it a PF to touch him, and all he'd have to do is say the name of his WR for the pass to be deemed complete.

I seriously doubt it. It has looked like for a while now that his passes over 10-15 yards look like ducks even by his standards. Even when he was playing in a dome in St. Louis and now in Denver where his passes should be crisper.

Besides, they need to win HFA because they don't want to go on the road. They can't afford to preserve Manning's arm. Because if they do, they might risk having go on the road as soon as the division round.
