Hmmm, that's a bit more decadent than Brady deserves.... Tom is a bit more front-line than that:

Gotta' have a talk with that scoreboard operator

Bill Russell or Wilt Chamberlain? Tom Brady or Peyton Manning? Stuff or puff? The answers have never been in doubt.

If Wilt Chamberlein was on that loaded celtics team the results would've been the same, if not better. Wilt by far was the better player. As far as being a "selfish" player, wilt led the league in assist one year just to prove a point(still the only center in league history to lead in total assist) 8.6 assist per game. He averaged 50pts and 25rebs one year lol. It's silly to think Bill Russell was better.

Bill Russell was one of the greatest rebounders(22.5 second to only wilt) and team players ever (won 11 in 13 years) but that's where it stops. Two of Wilt's teams set records for reg season wins with CONSIDERABLY less talent than Russell's celtics. When Russell arrived K.C Jones was the reigning rookie of the year, and Cousy was the reigning MVP.

He is the Lord of the Rings.;)

It was a real duel, both Qb threw the ball well over 50 times and Manning lost.

B... b... but Mannng is the one who threw for nearly 500yds!

Typical fantasy stats for Manning. Four hundred and something useless yards. That's what makes him so good right?

And this is the difference between the two men and why Brady is better: He's malleable. He adjusts. He can play in any weather, with any offensive group, and beat you.
For Manning, the conditions have to be perfect for him to prosper. He's a front-runner, which is why he has so much statistical greatness and not Super Bowl moments. The Super Bowl is the ultimate setting where insanity is the norm, and Brady has played well in all of his Super Bowls because he prospers under adversity. Manning doesn't.

As I so accurately said in the WEATHER thread

Peyton Manning = A QB who plays each regular season game as if it were a SB, and then treats the SB like a preaseason game

Updated head to head stat...

Brady 11 wins...Manning 5

Of course THIS is why Moonhead is better according to Marshall Fork

I don't even know what the Manning people's argument IS anymore, or how it could possibly make any sense

Latest version:

  1. The 3 SBs don't count because of Spygate
  2. Brady has been losing big games just like Manning in the last 10 years
  3. Manning had the only SB win in the last 10 years and without spygate
  4. Belichick and the defense have been the difference, not Brady

It's weak sauce, but it's all they've got left.

Those poor bastards.

Holy ****e. This article is dazzling.

I think it's interesting to note that Brady/Manning have now matched up 16 times. Even against the absolute top possible level of competition (if you trust the hype for these games), Brady is 11-5 while Manning is 5-11. Hardly a 50-50 toss-up. So, even if the Pats played a full season against exclusively Manning-led teams, they still make the playoffs!

I think the last feasible one that they use was that Manning never has had the defensive talent that Brady has had. After an off-season spent with Elway amping up the defensive side of the ball, that's, yet, another excuse removed from the debate equation.

"I don't usually stink, but I stunk today.....just like I do in most big games"

Stay thirsty Peyton
