The Official Patriots vs Jets Game Thread

I don't want to see a defensive game plan like that EVER again, that was garbage and they made the worst offense in the league look good.

What's so hard to grasp for the coaches that this group of players play better when the scheme is aggressive and up in the offenses face?

Belichick likes to go zones/conservative against mobile QBs, but he was facing the worst QB in the NFL, and he let that QB beat him all game long. The Patriots were probably 5 yards away from losing to a team they were 2 TDs better than.

He made Geno Smith look like a Pro Bowl QB. That's embarrassing.
I agree. I said in the game thread earlier and before the game that the Pats should play tight press man with Chung consistently in the box and blitz often to force Geno into quick decisions. They did the exact opposite and had to escape. It was a **** gameplan.

We may talk a lot about the Jets. But damn they often play us close.

AFCE games are almost always dogfights. People ***** and moan about this or that, but anyone who has been a Pats fan since before Belichick came onboard knows that these games were the norm and not the exception.

These teams see each other twice a year. There's damned little they can hide from each other, playwise, so it always comes down to who can execute better. We got a win, the JEST got another loss. Fine by me. I'll take, and look forward to the next game.

Whats "embarrassing" is that you INSTANTLY go into your criticize Belichick schtick.

How about a spending five minutes to enjoy a win first.. like a fan.
