Patriots @ Bills Post Game Thoughts

as others have said. love the fact Tommy threw it around. Very encouraging perormance. Lets just get the win on Thursday and hope people get healthy.

Brandon LaFell said it best, and it's what all of us have been saying for years, with a healthy Rob Gronkowski the Patriots are completely different team on offense.

1. Proud of the way this team overcomes adversity. Plenty of other teams would fold and then get sympathy for it afterwards.

2. Mayo is gone for the season I would say. So is Ridley - pretty sure he was crying on the sideline - expensive injury for him in contract year.

3. Brady put this offense on his back - the deep ball was hugely improved after being awful for a long time.

4. LBer situation is going to tough to manage - we are down to UDFAs out there.

I'm hoping that Stork, Hightower and Browner can play this week. It would be nice to get Easley back as well. The loss of Mayo is a tough one and we are thin at linebacker to begin with.
A gutty win today and hopefully we can beat the Jets and then get some much needed rest.

I truly hope that the league fines Mario Williams for the hit on Gronk's knee. It was clearly intentional and the Pats lucked out that Gronk's knee wasn't blown out again..

I didn't see that play.

Does anyone have a video or gif of it?

I saw it. Seemed a bit dirty.

Also besides bad chung play on chandler. He did pretty good today

Hopefully the "Lafail" idiots can go and shut up now. The idiots that basically hate LaFell because he isn't Andre Johnson.

What I like from this team is that they improve each week. They have much to improve on. But they have a lot of time before the playoffs to do that.

Well the good thing about Ridley is you can probably find a RB to stick in there and play. Won't be as good but should be able to find one.

Mayo is not gonna be replaceable. You can go with Collins/Hightower in your nickle and probably be okay. with your base though we will see.

  • Mayo :(
  • Brady looks great but he took some big hits
  • If Solder doesn't get his head out of his ass soon, he may be a FA next year
  • WTF was up with the announcers suit? Did he lose a bet?
  • Danny Aiken had a couple of bad plays again
  • Gronk getting close to form. That was a sick play for the TD that was called back

Be careful making negative comments on Nate Solder....some folks on here cant take that kind of negative talk....

I don't have a link but it was the play before LaFell's first TD:

2-22-BUF 28 (9:29) 12-T.Brady pass short left to 87-R.Gronkowski to BUF 18 for 10 yards (94-Ma.Williams). Swing pass, caught at BUF 32.

Didnt see the play but Iam always scared when he catches the ball because everyone just goes at his knees because they are too scared to tackle/hit him on the upper body .

Yeah, Randy Moss-like in the way that he just transforms an offense into something almost completely unstoppable. Only a handful of guys in the league have that impact. We have one on D too - #24.

From being at the game, you'd be shocked to see Brady have all that time to throw in the first half with the WRs just totally incapable of getting open. Call me very concerned still.

The big throws in the 4th qtr were largely a result of Bills desperation and pinching in.

I don't blame Brady as much as the WRs who struggle to get open.

Meh. Pats adjusted. The supposed real great Buffalo defense didn't. Pats had Devey-Wendell-Kline as their interior and Brady was 15/17 for 294 Yards and 2 TDs in the 2nd half.

If I told people at 11AM thing morning that it would be Devey-Wendell-Kline in the 2nd half and Brady would have that stat line in the 2nd half I would have been laughed off the board.

That OL gave Brady tons of time all game.
