A little bit of attitude is exactly what this defense needs

I hope he likes playing 12 yards from the LOS! The Matt Patricia special.

He will change something...logan ryan won't have to play. Revis and Browner from now on

But like Revis...will be 15 years from LOS

Patricia will probably have him 10 yards away from the scrimmage

Browner we absolutely need. Need his swagger and Toughness.

Welp, at least Browner coming back is one prospective positive going into next week.

Glad Browner is coming back but we need to get a pass rush or it's not going to matter if we have Deon Sanders in the secondary.

Finally a member of the LOB on this sorry ass defense

Wonder who goes before next week

Hopefully Browner will be able to infuse some pride into this defense! Wilfork and Mayo are leaders on the defense but they are quiet leaders. They need vocal ones with swagger. I just hope he isn't a liability in coverage as he didn't really impress me during the preseason.

What would it matter if Tyms made the 53? He would probably just be deactivated anyway.

guys like browner and revis need a pass rush to be great with out that press man or zone they will get beat just as bad as ryan and butler were beat tonight

Great pass rush came make poor CBs look good. Don't need a great pass rush with Revis if he is being used the right way. If he is being told to play 10 yards off of LOS..not his strong suit, He will look like just a good CB and not the great CB he is.

Pats are really wasting his skills

I think he can or at lest I hope revis will play better but I don't think he will ever be the revis he was under Rex Ryan that was a few years ago with more talent and I hate to say it better play calling around him

Apparently you don't remember Revis' days with the Jets where the Jets sacks were because of Revis.

revis doesn't play with any confidence. seems like all of the swagger was sucked out of him when he joined us. hope patricia uses them in press man to man. bump and run. enough of this zone garbage. bend and don't break fails time and time again.

Some of his toughness and swagger he had with the jets is definably missing

Revis is a press coverage player. People here mocked the Bucs for having him play off coverage and zone last year.

Well, BB has him playing off coverage and zone this year.

Yeah, I thought the whole idea was to have Revis to help shut down the opposition's #1 receiving option, which in turn would force the QB to go to lesser talented players?

One thing is for sure--if he's going to be used this way, then I'd rather see the 13-14 million AAV that is assumed on a longer term deal used in a more effective manner for the future. It's a waste.

We just saw a rookie QB on the road in his 3rd career start choosing to target him late in the 4th quarter last week (and with success).

Hopefully amendola, his notable contribution this weekend, 15 yard penalty, but hey, thats an improvement this year, at least he was spotted doing something!

If we had Browner I bet that rookie TE wouldn't have scorched us like he did. Perfect guy for those TEs.

But BB is using revis the wrong way...so he could very well use Browner in the wrong way. 10 yards off LOS and covering a slot WR.
