***Ray Rice---The Whole Video*** [Update: Ravens release Rice]

They should put those employee of the month certificates on the locker room after a wife beating.

Baltimore is going to be praised for this as if they didn't see the video before this morning. They literally did the only thing they could do to prevent a crapstorm of controversy
I wouldn't be surprised if Goodell didn't pressure them into doing it. Or they would have to do it themselves. Just too much PR for the mighty, ethical NFL to swallow.

Does this mean he doesn't get a statue next to Ray Lewis?

Funny now all the reporters are saying the league never saw this video until today, different story on an hour ago.

The Ommisioner doesn't like being shown up does he?

This is a HUGE secondary story. Back when the suspension came down, most of the major journalists covering the NFL said that their sources were telling them that the NFL had seen the tape from inside the elevator and it offered at least some mitigation.

Now, they're all backtracking like crazy. Peter King is saying he was 'misinformed' by his sources. As far as I can tell, the entire class of NFL reporters has just been thrown under the bus by the league. It will be interesting to see the backlash from this. I saw Adam Schefter earlier today and he was pretty ripped.

Would expect the divorce papers any day now. No more reason for her to stay with the scum.

I wonder how long til his wive divorces him.

All that football money she thought he might be getting is gone now. cash out before its too late.

why didn't the nfl come out at the time and say they didn't see the video from inside. I'm not buying it.

this has all the hallmarks of a whitewash gone badly wrong. Let there be one loan voice challenge them on this.

League backtracking: Based on this new evidence, Ray Rice now suspended indefinitely (so any team inclined to pick him up will have to deal with that as well).

Now the league suspends him indefinitely... C'mon. If TMZ can get it the NFL can get it. Goodell....You got some 'splainin to do....

... I wonder if his wife will stay with him now? Now that the money will no longer be there?

Suspended indefinitely by NFL. No doubt he got caught in a lie or else the 2 games would of stood.

Rice is a POS and should be in jail but this women is either a gold digger or has some serious mental issues as well since she married Rice after this.

Goodell saying now that Ray Rice is suspended indefinitely, based on new evidence.

Just my opinion, but I think that based on the court of public opinion, the commissioner figured out that he screwed up in the immediate aftermath of the announcement of the two-game suspension.

The newly released video gave him an opportunity to save face and distance himself from his original poorly formed decision.

I think it actually makes Goodell look bad that Baltimore had to step in and do this. We'll see how the media spins it, but essentially Baltimore had to act to save face largely because the penalty was to small int he first place. If they gave Rice a full season to start with I'm not sure if this video would have made a huge difference, it definitely would have been less than with the 2 games he got.

Exactly, and that is a good example of that advice 90% of men listen from their fathers and grand fathers, that when we are young we listen without the proper attention, "do not get involved with a *****".

3 things that lead a man to bankrupt and total failure as a human being, drugs, gamble and a bad choice of woman.

Apparently Goodell has suspended him indefinitely.

Either the NFL lied about having seen the footage or they neglected to obtain it. Either way things look bad. Their choice is to have knowingly let Rice off the hook or failed to investigate the issue to the same vaunted reporting standards as TMZ.

Evidently The footage today wasn't available to Goodell. He was caught in a lie.
