I view him as competition for Boldin's spot (or just a 4th RB in general). When Vereen went down last year, they had no one to replace his role. White has the potential to do that.

Why? I bet he will be traded within the next 24-48 hours. Word is that the Texans were going to draft a QB even if they traded for Mallett. I think once the Texans used their third round pick, the Pats were not trading Mallett for picks in this year's draft and it would be for a player or next year's draft picks.

You guys do know there's nothing wrong with keeping 3 QBs on the roster, right?

Pretty nice highlight package for a guy who shared carries. Also, reportedly good blocker, receive and never fumbles.

So James White > KPL? Give me a minute to google James White. LOL. No worries we still have a comp 4th and three 6th rounders to go.

Only if Garappalo is able to beat him out in camp for the 2 role. Otherwise, they'll carry 3 this year.
