Welcome to the new forum!

Very nice Ian.

Thank you for continually improving this forum and website.

This is a great look Ian. However I need some help finding the "quote feature" you promised. Clearly help is needed, Thanks

Press reply under the users post and that quotes it for you or is there something else that's still not revealed?

Site looks great on mobile Ian, much more usable than the old one.

I couldn't read the old forum on my phone but this new one is great

Love the new design -- lean and clean, modern. As others have pointed out it looks great on mobile — bathroom breaks at work will be even more enjoyable. Guess I can delete that Tap-A-Talk app I finally downloaded last week!

I'm sure we'll all have to get used to seeing the site the new way. Like on the main forum page, the page count for each thread not showing until you hover. (Reminds me of the line that, if web designers designed doors, the door knobs would only appear when you reached for them.) I must say I do miss seeing the page counts as I browse; clues me in on hot topics.

Overall .. bravo!

Edit: hah. Just noticed that live threads on the main board page are called "Normal threads." I'm not so sure I'd refer to a lot of our threads as "normal"! ;)

I'd edit my reply if I knew how but the command and + or - just changes text size

I finally made it in. That was tricky. But I like the look. At least from my phone so far

I'm having trouble with text colors on one computer only; the messages are all invisible until I scroll over them then I can read it. Only one computer out of three, though, my settings must be off on that one.

Each time you click on "Reply" next to the message you're looking to respond to, the quoted message automatically appears in the reply window. You can hit as many as you want :)

It looks great thanks so much!

There's also a second method, where you can highlight text and then quote with that as well, and I've attached screenshots.

New Likes system will be installed in a bit - I know the current button is small but the new one is cool. You'll see that and another really cool profile feature in a bit once this finishes :)
Took me about 4 minutes to realize that I had to resign in. Haven't had to to that for years.
To all of those lurking and trying to figure out how reply to a thread- You must sing in.

Thanks for all the hard work Ian. A little too much white for me but i am sure i will get used to it. great job.

I know, was thinking the same thing. I'll tone that down. Working on a little softer version to ease the eyes a bit.

New interfaces always take some getting used to, but on its face this looks like a huge upgrade.

The only comment I would make is the blue lines dividing posts are a bit too light - i.e. not enough contrast against the white background.

Thanks for all the hard work.
