On the NFL.com page one of the headlines was that Lafell thinks Brady is a HOF Qb, but that Cam Newton is not (at least not yet).

Kind of crazy that THAT would be considered newsworthy.

What are the odds on LaFell picking up the offense? I see a long off season of him being *****ed at by Brady if he's not a quick learner.

I think he'll be a pleasant surprise and fit in. if he wasnt, the pats wouldn't have signed him over other receivers who cost similar in price but had better stats(jones, sanders) just my opinion though

I was listening to the radio, and from what I have heard/read, The panthers mis-used Lafell in their offense, using him more as a slot receiver(so they could get ginn/smith outside) when he is more of an outside the hash-marks receiver.

If dobson makes the year two jump you have two 6:2 receivers you can play on the outside to open up the middle for Edelman/Gronk/Amendola
