In the immortal words of The Wire's Ellis Carver, "You can't call this a war. Wars end."The Great Patsfans Tebow War of 2013 will now be fought on multiple fronts.
You mean the Texans, not the 49ers. Keenum is high unlikely to be cut. There's some talk in Houston that he could even leapfrog not only T.J. Yates but maybe even Schaub too. Obviously that's unlikely to happen as well. Keenum is going nowhere however.I like Case Keenum. If the 49ers cut ties with him (not sure how possibe that is), I would hope that the Pats scoop him up.
Tim is bad. Ryan hasn't shown enough to think he would be an adequate long term solution. I see no problem with trying out a couple more guys to see if there is a developmental third qb out there.

Same here regarding Schaub. Though it wouldn't shock me at all if he somehow found a way to surpass him. Schaub has the propensity to show up small in big games and Keenum looks like a gamer.Thanks. It's been a long day. But yeah, he could be a legitimate threat as a starting quarterback. I've watched a couple of Texans preseason games and some of the throws that he's made have been on a rope. He's also very mobile. He should definitely beat out Yates. Not sure of Schaub quite yet.
