I think this stinks. He has caught 100+ passes every year he has been here and we think that is easy to replace? Welker wasn't the problem on offense if there is one!

Exactly, fix the D first and foremost that and let Brady work his magic and we are far better off IMO.

That said, I'm not really broken up over this. We have some work to do to even fill-out our roster, but I am sure BB has a plan. An offense with Brady, Gronk, Hern, Ridley, and Vereen, as well as an always top-tier OL, and a creative, proven OC is at least a top 15 offense. We don't need to be historically great on O. We need to be very good and very good on D as well. Let's stock up on D and round out the WR corps and we'll be fine.

The FO have screwed the pooch here, taken Bradys favourite receiver/comfort blanket/friend and offered him pittance, just breeds resentment in his restructured deal particularly if he thought or was told some of that would be used to pay Welker

Brady should hold out.
