Some personal news

My sincerest condolences to you for your family's loss. My prayer for you is lots of support from your friends and family.

Dave, I am so deeply sorry to hear this news. There are thousands of posters here, but only a few whom I feel like I've actually gotten to know in some way.

Please give those kids of yours lots of hugs - - the squeezes will help them and you. I can only say that they are fortunate to have a dad who has such a wonderful outlook on life. You've always shown that right here, time and time again, whenever there are contentious and heated debates in this very forum - - we can always count on PatJew to somehow chime in with a perfectly placed humorous aside that breaks the heat.

Much condolences and prayers for your family. Your wife must have been a very special person, and even from what little I know of you from this forum, I know your family must have a real treasure trove of love and good times for eternal memories.

Stunning, saddening news. I pray for all of you. Mere words cannot express my sympathy for your loss.

David
Even though I'm not a religious person my prayers are with you. I know I look at my wife and can't imagine a day without her. What a nightmare you and your children must be going though. Keep well my friend and I offer my deepest sympathies.

Thoughts and prayers to you and your family, my sincere condolences.

Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. The thoughts and prayers of all of us are with you, your children and your extended family.

Hi Everyone.

I don't know why I am posting this here but it feels right and Ian said it's OK. This place is kind of like another family to me.

My wife passed away on Tuesday night in Boston. She was 36. We have 3 kids, 14, 12, and 8 years old.

We're all very devastated, of course. But we're hanging in there and the kids have been amazing. I'm also lucky to have several sets of supportive relatives, friends, and colleagues. So we're going to work our way through this eventually.

I just wanted to let you all know.

Dave

You and your children and your extended family have my deepest sympathy. It is hard to get to know people on a message board, it is very apparent that you are a quality person, and I thank God for that for the sake of what your poor children will be going through.
If there is anything I can do, please PM me.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dave,

There are no words that I can think of to describe how truly sorry I feel over your loss.

For what it's worth, my wife and I are only 35 ourselves, and I never think that I could lose her (or leave her myself) at this young of an age. Your loss has made me realize that I need to cherish every moment I have with her from now on.

Sharing your story with us, has given us all a great gift... If we choose to accept it.
My most sincere Thanks to you.

Stay strong Brother Patriot.

Ed.

There really aren't words to express oneself in a situation like this. I am very sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

It's times like these that remind us how important it is to love and respect one another. We are all here because of our love for the game of football and our New England Patriots but there's also a larger meaning to this message board. Not only to discuss football but to join together as one family.

My prayers go out to you and your family Dave. Peace be with you.

As I said when I spoke to you this morning, my wife and I are definitely thinking of you and please let me know if there's anything you need. Obviously as you can tell you have plenty of other people here who care about you also, and I'm sure everyone will do the best we can to help you get through it.

Oh man. I'm so sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. :(

My stomach turned when I read this. I am so sorry to hear about you and your children's loss. I know it sounds hollow, but I am sure every one of us mean it when we say: If there is anything I can do please feel free to ask.

Sincerely;
Your PatsFans brother, Steve

My heart and prayers go out to you. Your post had meaning and your among friends here.

I am praying for you and your children's mourning to be replaced with fond memories of the precious time you all had together as soon as possible.

I wish I could do more

I'm so sorry to hear this news Dave. My sincerest condolences to you and your family and do know that your Patsfans family is always here in case you need any support.

I am literally at a loss for words. Hold onto your kids tight, make sure this pulls you and your kids together and live every day in a way that would make her proud.

Losing a spouse is intense. I'm truly gutted. Your demeanor shines through on this board and makes us hurt for you that much more.

Much love, Brother.

Hi Everyone.

If you could hear this post, you would know that I am crying my eyes out as I write this.

I just want to thank everyone for their heartfelt messages and PMs. It means so much to me to know that you care.

Now I know why I posted this message.

Without getting into the gritty details, I can say that my beautiful wife's death came as a great shock. She was in alot of pain and did what she had to do. She never said bye to us.

I still love her.

Tomorrow is the funeral. I wrote her obituary from 4 to 7 AM. I hope I can deliver it well.

Again, thank you all. I have rough road ahead but I will do my best. I owe it to my three precious gifts. Thank god for my friends and family.

Sorry for making this about me.

I will answer the PMs as I can. Maybe this weekend. I really appreciate them.

Thank you all again. This really really hurts but we will get through it.
