This is one strange year in the NFL

-officiating calls and non calls
-officials publicly reviewing player performance
-the public conversation about violence
-no dominant teams
-the most truth to "on any given Sunday" ever (Cleveland, Detroit, etc.)
-and now a coach visits a crime scene:

It's been a good NFL season so far

Good to see the lack of dominant teams really

I'm in one of them betting pools at work..each week I pick the teams that should win, and each week I get screwed..I'm about to go george costanza on this thing and just pick the exact opposite and I will probably win each week.

I don't think it's strange at all. This sport is like a soap opera. Every year there is something/someone bringing the drama. This year it just happens to be the officials. I quite like the any give sunday angle. It's nice to see losing teams pull one out.

man i'm in the same boat at work. I told my friend the same thing, i just need to pick the team that i believe will lose each week and do better. But watch, the samw week you go for it, it backfires lol

I thought it was obvious coming into the season that there wasn't going to be a dominant team. This season had 2008 written all over it.

I think that is one of the biggies this year. There are some very good teams, but no "lock" team to make it to the SB.

The good news is, there were still some hard hits on players last week, but no controversy, so It's business as usual,, but the NFL is changing, they seem to have their own brand of justice, no flag thrown? Too bad, pay me! No arrest made? Too bad, pay me! And now we have Jeff "**** Tracy" Fisher on the case, lol, good grief!

That would be amazing. Brady would definitely be the first QB to 5 rings if that happened.
