really disappointed in the team. Each year, we have always seen the team progress, learn, get better as the season progresses. This year, I can't say the Pats are progressing, more like regressing, with more glaring weaknesses exposed every week. I am not blaming the players, they are what they are. Many are young inexperienced players. I am blaming the coaching staff, they just seem to be making many fundamental mistakes. I am not picking on play calling, it's fundamentals, and the inability to make any game adjustments.

Very true post

Excellent call for calm. Are you even watching these games?

Yeah. So we got blown out by perhaps the best team in the NFL this year. Not good, but I hardly think it's the disaster everyone makes it out to be. Then we had a poor showing against a Miami team that's not great, but not terrible.

I agree, the playcalling needs attention. The pass rush needs attention - not that we can do anything about it right now. But we still have a very good chance to make the playoffs (I still think we win the division), and once you get there who knows?

Sorry for attempting to be rational.

2 in a row is something we haven't had to deal with much, but that was a tough game in a place where the Pats historically have problems.

There are a few issues, but they will win the division and be a force in the playoffs. That will be the difference from last year. Don't discount Brady in the playoffs.

What team are you watching?

IT'S THE PASS RUSH STUPID (although the offense lost today's game).

They won't be in control of the division for long at this rate. 4 games left, 2 on the road. At best it's a 1-1 split with the road games. No evidence they could go into Houston and win. Buffalo is iffy.

Jets are at Indy and TB and home vs. Atl and Cinci. 3-1 is possible. 2-2 is more likely.

Fins are at JAX and TN and home vs HOU and Pitt. 2-2 is likely.

There are plenty of concerns for sure, but NYJ and MIA have challenging schedules.

What can you say. A bad loss. We're not going anywhere this year. We are not playing the type of ball that precedes a major playoff run.

wow, seriously? It's really getting out of control around here.

I feel the same way. Its a bad loss so most of the crap flung at them is deserved, but fire BB? Trade Brady? That's crossing the crazy line.

There is no pass rush either..
I don't think I have watched a BB coached team with the pass rush being so nonexistant. I mean, they don't need to get sacks but when no one is even around the QB drop back after drop back then it's not good.

There is nothing they can do to fix that problem this year.

The pass interference call on Aiken was awful. One play that could change the game. Can't save the season though. The team is going to have to do that.

I really don't want to hear BB's PC were he say's we need to play better, the coaches need to coach better. Yes we as fans know all this, the act is getting old.

Same thing, says that shi& with the same stupid look on his face.

As I said. Especially trading Brady. If you really want to destroy this program just put some of these posters in management positions. This season has been disappointing, no one is denying that. But this is just pathetic. Some of you need to pull yourselves together, for the sake of the program. It doesn't reflect well on the team.

Ya know whats really weird?
Springs says that Billy is like a brain with legs...wow what kinda idiots did he play for?

I blame this almost entirely on Bill Belichick. While i will eternally grateful for the SB's and all the winning seasons, he has to be accountable. He wanted all the power to mold the team, the players, the coaches, etc. He chose what veterans to let go, he chose not to hire an experianced OC, it is his decision to let Pees run the defense. Last week i said that i can't hold Pee's responsible for not having a pass rusher but today as a casual watcher i saw the defense standing around looking at each other while Miami ran or pass time and time again for first downs. The offensive play calling was a joke, even i saw that. Long bombs on third and yards ...repeatedly, pathetic, it not fooling anyone any longer. There was ineptness from start to finish, even if its not his fault someone needs to be held accountable for the state the Pats are in. The fish rots from the head, maybe BB has been reading to many articles on how he is a genious. What ever the case he needs to realize that he is ultimitlay responsible and change the direction of this team and coaches.

Belichich sets the offensive and defensive systems. I'm sure he has

the final say on play calling.

Sorry for attempting to be rational.

Rational? How about 1-4 on the road with the 1 win being in a neutral sight against a terrible winless team. How about an offense that can't do anything in the second half. This team is a first half team and that is a BIG problem. It's how you finish a game, not how you start.

This team has way to many problems right now. I hope that we will see the pre-injury Brady again, but I fear he may never be the same.

I think that picture of Brady boarding the plane to London with a suit on while everyone else was in their track outfits revealed a lot more than just fashion.

Cassel's season was actually better than 09 TB. This is UNBELIEVABLE !

BB WILL NEVER BELIEVE IT IN HIS WILDEST DREAM. I'M NOT SURE IF BB'S PLAYERS ARE BUYING HIS BS TALK ANY MORE.

WE ARE GOING DOWN IN FRONT OF OUR EYES AND BOSTON MEDIA SAY NOTHING AND SO ARE SOME OF US.
