If we only have so much amount of space, we probably can't even trade for him in the first place to work a deal out because he wouldn't fit under our cap under our current limit. He can't re-sign with Carolina either to make him cheaper. This pretty much puts my dream to bed
Yep. The time to get him was in the offseason. There is 0.000% chance of getting Peppers. Only way we get him is if we have $11m and change in cap room.
