You're taking this way to seriously. The only reason why I looked her up is because people told me how bad she looked and couldn't see why anybody would want to rape her. Sorry my opinion offends you, I'm just not buying her story. Unfortunately, people are going to judge her on her looks and have a hard time believing a NFL star would want to rape her. That's just the way life works, sorry.

Aside from the debate over whether or not a man would rape a woman who is not a perfect 10, I know there has to be a joke waiting to be told with this info: Roethlisberger currently appears on television commercials for ****'s Sporting Goods and is also featured in their catalogue.

Small update:

Roethlisberger Rape Case: Affidavit Casts More Doubt on Shaky Case | Bleacher Report

In an already shaky case where Andrea McNulty, a ****tail waitress at a hotel in Lake Tahoe, Nev., accused and sued Ben Roethlisberger of raping her during a celebrity golf match last year, things just got worse for the accuser.

An affidavit (a sworn statement of fact) signed and released by Angela Antonetti, stated that McNulty bragged about having consensual sex with Roethlisberger.

The statement said that McNulty "did not appear to be upset, stressed-out or nervous" regarding Roethlisberger

If that's the case, then I hope Ben does file suit against her. She probably doesn't have a lot to give but it'll set an example for people to stop pulling stunts like this. Every case like this (if indeed it was all a scam) only makes it that much harder for the real victims.

Why is it "obvious" that she is crazy? Because, yet again, you don't know wtf you are talking about?

I hate to break it to you, but people having been coming out of the woodwork from Miami (Ohio) and from Ben's home town who have said that Ben is a womanizer. Does that mean he'd rape the person? I have no idea. And neither do you.

You, honestly, sound like the idiot that posted on Boston.com and said that she had to be lying because you can't get PTSD from being raped. Unfortunately, for him, he was very wrong.

To be honest, this is what I originally thought as well. It had the Kobe Bryant syndrome written all over it. Has the defense shed light on whether or not McNulty is presently hard up for money yet?

Have you seen this girl? No NFL star who can be the most average looking person and pull such hot tail, rape a chick that looked liked her. How does Ben go from dating Natalie Gulbis, Kim Kardashian, Missy Peregrym and others to raping this homely looking girl at the casino? Nobody's buying it, especially one year later. There's no case.

I think part of her original filing includes $300,000 for medical bills. She was in and out of 5 different hospitals between Sept and Dec of 08. So I'm sure she isn't doing great financially.

In my opinion your logic is way off base. Rape has nothing to do with a guy losing control of his actions beacuse he hasn't had sex in a certain amount of time. And it has nothing to do with a woman being so hot he can't control himself, or a guy being able to get sex elsewhere. It's not about the physical act, it is the mental side of the act. Rather than 'making love', rape is 'making hate'; it has nothing to do with being turned on but has everything to do with power, control, domination, hate, etc.

The fact is good looking guys and guys with lots of money are perfectly capable of rape. And older and unattractive women do get raped - not just perfect 10's in skimpy outfits.

This isn't to say Roethlisberger may be innocent, or that she may be lying; that's very possible. Just saying your theory that it couldn't have happened because he's more desirable than she is is ridiculous and without any merit.

In a statement released by lawyer David Cornwell, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger takes a howitzer to the lawsuit filed against him alleging sexual assault.

Cornwell attaches to his statement e-mail messages sent by McNulty to the fictitious soldier, who had been fabricated by the wife of a man with whom the plaintiff supposedly had been involved.

Says Cornwell: "We believe that [the plaintiff's] own words directly refute the scurrilous allegations made in her Complaint. The attached documents, containing what we believe are [the plaintiff's] own words, are merely the tip of the investigative iceberg.

"[The plaintiff] should abandon her lawsuit immediately and admit that Ben Roethlisberger did not rape her."

Per Cornwell, the plaintiff wrote two days after the alleged sexual assault that she was looking forward to having dinner with Roethlisberger and other celebrities attending the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship.

Then, five months after the alleged assault, she wrote that she "would date Ben Roethlisberger" if the made-up soldier were to end their relationship.

We'll be looking over the e-mails and possibly adding more details and analysis. For now, it's clear that Cornwell and Roethlisberger are adopting a very aggressive posture. It remains to be seen whether it works.

Exactly. I know this crap happens alot with professional athletes, but one of these times there is going to be a girl that is legitimately forced upon by a celeb. And she is going to pay for someone else's lies. It's a shame.
