Like I said, they totally could go in the WR direction but even if they do it's hard to say who they will take for sure.
They might like McConkey or Coleman more than Mitchell for all we know.
Did anyone see the 49ers taking Rickey Pearsall? I didn't. Did you call that pick before draft...
Centers are not where you want to go in early round 2. Decent IOL will be available in the 4th-5th rounds.
Premium needs are LT and WR. I feel like most of the quality got scooped out of the OT class.
Paul or Saumataia would be decent choices. But it looks like some high potential wideouts...
If a trade doesn't materialize for a QB, I feel AD Mitchell in round 2 is a very high upside pick.
We're pretty much guaranteed one of those 3 top WR prospects at 34.
And then we can move up in the 3rd to get the best remaining OT like Fisher or Amagadjie.
Remember this BB values decision making in a QB over tools. From his profiles of the QBs in this draft it sounded like he would have taken McCarthy or Bo Nix instead of Drake Maye.
But then again also remember, that he wouldn't have moved up to take Julio Jones who is headed for the HOF and...
Ok Legette goes at #32 to Panthers to close out round 1.
At #34 tomorrow I'm fine with either AD Mitchell, Kingsley Saumataia, or a straight up swap for Aiyuk.
Aiyuk is gonna get PAID 25m per year though. A rookie WR won't.
But Aiyuk is a proven guy. I think #34 will be enough if that trade is actually on the table as rumored.
Chiefs moved up to take an absolute burner in Xavier Worthy. 4.21 40 yard dash is pretty insane. They are hoping to get Tyreek Hill 2.0 here. Pretty electric speed with this kid.
