OT: Simmoms ... Atlanta Front Office Does Not Want Bill.

"Bradystans" like who?
There’s an entire subsection on this forum dedicated to them… as if you didn’t know.

I was referring to this:
When Brady was available the Bradystans were convinced 2/3rds of the league would be clamoring to grab him.
Who said 2/3 of the league would be clamoring to grab him? I don't remember seeing that.

What other organizations are you referring to?

Each organization is different. San Diego is hiring Harbaugh. A guy with a proven record far from a first time guy with only one year as a OC, or a retread who failed his first time in Morris. Carolina is hiring a sacrificial lamb (no picks, no talent, the craziest owner in the NFL). Tennessee and Washington are clearly on record as having owners who want to be involved in coaches meetings, and this is why Tenn. wanted to get rid of Vrabel. These are all entirely different situations. If Buffalo fired McDermott, that's a situation where I'd wonder why they're not hiring Belichick, because the owner there is hands off. Just like Atlanta.
so because the owners are involved they did not hire BB? i doubt it
it's because they don't BB as the best option

It's obviously clear that there were a lot of patsfans posters that over rated Belichick as a highly desired HC. Many even thought he was worth a 1st round trade.

Belichick should've retired last season with Tom.

??

I wrote about WHY they wouldn't want someone like BB.

Tennessee just got rid of Vrabel. They did so because he was unwilling to collaborate in football decisions with the owners and front office.

Still crazy to think Kraft really fired BB outright. I thought at best he would go upstairs or "encouraged" to retire on his own terms.

To me it’s seems like the owner really wants Bill and the GM is fighting to keep his power in the organization. Does McKay convince Blank that they shouldn’t hire Bill or does Blank end up deciding on Bill and tells McKay to work with Bill or leave.

Agree, I honestly didn't think he had the balls to fire him. Now he's being cancelled from NE Patriots podcasts. Something went terribly wrong towards the end. This does not look like an amicable parting of ways.

I am sure Kraft understands Football look at all the busted Draft picks too many to list and FA misses even BB would fire Bill. On the Offensive side minus Brady we've been abysmal.

Can't forget the Krafts. Everyone knows they were more important to that SB than BB. At least you'd think so seeing them 5 seconds into the video. Lol

Wonder how BB feels about Carolina??

Carolina hired Dan Morgan as their GM. Morgan was a notorious Patriots hater and is someone who has hated everything to do with the Patriots since forever. Even worse, their owner is not only involved in player selection, he made the infamous Bryant Young trade himself. They also have no premium picks for the next 2 years.

In other words, whoever gets that coaching job is a sacrificial lamb. That's the kind of job that's screaming for a retread who will get no chance anywhere else.

The crying disbelief of the Belichick fans is hilarious. The enjoyment of this site has gone up 1000% without their sanctimonious IBWT nonsense

I was an IBWT guy because the your eyes told you the product he was producing was worthy of trust, with strong coaching and talent acquisition in all three phases in the game, toughness, intensity, discipline.

Going into a season with MP and JG steering the ship, poor discipline on the field, taking a 1st round QB who had a good rookie season and zeroing him out two seasons later, not even being good at special teams, all this breaks one's trust.

Can you explain what you mean by this?

After the 2021 debacle in the playoffs, he clearly went about rebuilding the defense and making it faster. To me this screams longterm.

Even the pick of Gonzalez and Keion White is a longterm move. He could've done much more expedient moves to fill needs.

I think he's talking about not looking forward very well with regard to finding newer/better coaches and personnel people.

His recent coaching hires, MP, JG, BoB, his sons, etc should all be big concerns for anyone wanting to hire him now.

His job is to put his coaches in a place to succeed, clearly he came up short on that.
