Patriot nation's EF U statement at Gillette

PatriotReign saw your comments about the one finger salute. Agree completely with your sentiments. Problem with a one finger salute is the TV stations won't put it on the air. Offer up a loud and in your face chant in response to the constant trashing of this team and its' fans and you know they'll comment on it.
I'm completely serious about this.
This is an opportunity for the fans at Gillette to make a statement and to energize this team.
But don't eliminate that one finger salute entirely PatriotReign.
Save it for ManJudas next Sunday!! ;)
(along with those rubber rats)

How about a simple and incredibly long Standing Ovation at a key moment before the game starts (after the anthem)? I'm talking about an ovation that will make these cry and know without a doubt we appreciate them and support them like no other fanbase.

Some kind of "Thank You Patriots" for your efforts so far type of thing. Something that really shows the players we know that they are playing their hearts out and leaving nothing on the field...THEY NEED THE LOVE & THEY NEED TO FEEL IT!

After that, some kind of chant throughout the game would be great

I expect Gillette to be 50-60% Steelers fans anyway. Maybe 70.

Maybe in your dreamz buddy. Hey, how much will you give me for 2 terrible towels that I've been holding onto. One is from 2001 and is soaked with Kordell Stewart's tears and the other is from 2004 and is stained with the tears of Jerome Bettis & Hines Ward.:D

maybe, i think we should organize it somehow...say, after the anthem, after the cheering and clapping of the anthem, let us begin the whole game with

"Go Pats" it has to loud, it has to clear, it has to strong, it has to energize the Pats, and confuse the Steelers......

then, later on throughout the game, we can keep saying "love the hate" and "eff u", switching back and forth....

there can be no moment in which that does not happen, becasue if there is too long of a pause, then the crowd will lose it, if its done every 5 or 10 minutes or so, it would keep the crowd in it....(mind u 10 mins game time)

No offense, but no one hates the Pats' fans. People hate their cheating head coach, and guys like Randy Moss (quit on a team despite getting millions of dollars) & Rodney Harrison (cheap shot artist and performance enhanced cheater). Additionally, I respected the hell out of Brady but he is slowly becoming Marino-like with all his whining lately.

But all the Pats' fans I have personally met tend to really cool and respectful people. Besides, it's cute how a team's fanbase could triple after one Super Bowl win. ;)

Seriously I think this is asking too much from a pretty lame crowd. I been to a couple of gams this year and the crowd noise was nill. I have to say both games were blow outs so their really wasn't much to be loud about. Maybe if the crowd had some sort of motivation to be loud they would.

I think keeping it as simple as possible is the best idea. If the game was next week, we could have WEEI help us out with this. I think it's too late for that now. Although we could send them a few emails asking them to talk about this. Does anyone else think WEEI or WBCN can help us?

If you recall the Chargers game, you know we had an awesome crowd that Belickick and the players really noticed and appreciated. Of course we can do it again!

i like ur idea, but the chant has to be simpler, the word embrace doesnt quite fit...

Agreed, if this is tried as is it will come out sounding like

Membafe the-ate

Sounds like something Opus the penguin would say in his early days.

Sorry to disappoint you but they do.
I thought that most Steelers' fans were kind of ok with us as I think most of are with them. Then one of my best friends from back in Pa told me that his 3 teams that he HATES are the Broncos, Ravens and the Patriots.

Guess losing multiple AFCC games to the same team will do that to you.

Good luck trying to get the entire stadium to chant anything in unison. I bet you couldn't get everybody to chant "Let's Go Brady, Let's Go!" (or Defense).

The only thing the Gillette crowd does in unison is the "First Down!!!" thing...which is cool but it's over as soon as it starts.

I still loathe the Pack after '96. The shutout we hung on them last year or the year before took away some of the sting. I'm hoping for a GB/NE SB this year!

u gotta be positive, otherwise it wont work....

i think we can do it, easily too....if one group starts it, and ppl talk about it pregame at tailgates, it will spread, and i think we can do it

This is one of the best ironies about Pats fans. They want to run the "eff u" tour all around the world and stick it to the NFL, but then they get upset when announcers or commentators clearly don't like them and are almost openly rooting for the other team.

Face it: you miss the days when you were loved & when everyone pulled for you against the Rams. No one loves hate.

I would personally rather see fans keep it clean. Eff you? Not gonna use the c word because it's been beaten to death... but I don't know. Chanting "Eff you" just seems kinda childish.
