Pats vs Packers pre-game discussion

My guess is not much if at all.
Exception being one or two starters who might need a few reps.
Gonzo might be in that category but hopefully only a few plays.
I don't understand this at all. Why not play the 1s for a half to get the reps and timing? I mean the Eagles are coming in game one. We need to score a lot to win.

They are using joint practices to get the 1s work.

Game Preview: Patriots at Packers

The Patriots hosted the Packers in a Sunday Night Football game on Dec. 19, 2010, claiming a 31-27 victory. The game featured a 71-yard kickoff return by OL Dan Connolly to the 4-yard line in the second quarter. According to Elias Sports Bureau, it remains the longest kickoff return by an offensive lineman in NFL history. The run by Connolly topped the 48-yard touchdown return by Atlanta's Mal Snider in 1969. The previous longest kickoff return for a Patriots offensive lineman was a 27-yard return by G Stephen Neal on Nov.30, 2008, vs. Pittsburgh.

I was at that game, laughed my ass off. He just ran out of gas.

Going off of what the team did last year, Mac will likely play a couple/few series tonight. Maybe it comes down to who's available at OL.. they may not want to risk it if it's like last week.

I’ve only seen fans and reporters whining about the Patriots and how they “shouldn’t be invited back”, there’s no indication the coaches actually feel that way.
I was just mocking the Fudgepacker fans

NFL+ doesnt show there?
I quit my NFL Game pass (overseas version of NFL+) subscription this year as I was not using it enough. A bit disappointing but heck there are too many subscriptions across all media nowadays......I will get the Pats highlights tomorrow am.

Let me see all of the rookies with some serious gametime tonight. Let me see an OL that doesnt get steamrolled what seems like every other play. I’d like to see improved pocket movement by Zappe, see if he has any ability to extend plays in his wheelhouse. Id like to see the young receivers find a way to get separation and rack up the yac. On defense, just get the young guys all some teachable moments. Id like to see some things that show they belong. Look, I couldn’t give two ****s if we win the game tonight but I would really love to watch a game a taaaad more entertaining than last wk. Get some running lanes open, get receivers open and play physical on D. Would love it if we got to see some extended time from Mapu.

back to back 1-3 starts to the season. you'd think the starters would play to get some game experience so the team isn't digging out of a massive hole. But I guess that's why they Pay Bill for he Coach $25m or whatever it is. and he's earned every dollar these last 3 seasons (25-26 the last three seasons).

So if I pony up the $400 for Youtube NFL Ticket, I don't get the pre-season games since they are on NFL+???

NYFL is fecking BRUTAL.
