Steelers' DC says Pats do things on the edge of legality.

We should stop for a second and appreciate Bill Cower for being a man. He said Spygate was nothing and they did the same thing themselves. Told Ben to stop with the BS injury excuses.

Cower is talking like the 70's Steelers I respected (less the steroids.)

Life happens, deal with it, don't whine, and move on.

Every team does things on the "edge of legality". That's why penalties get called.

And if they're not called during the game they'll just issue a fine afterwards.

Who is he? Had to look him up. Google says he was **** Lebeau's LB coach for 11 years while the team won 2 Super Bowls and no one bothered to even hire him for DC? Eh. Please.

**** scoring 60, if it happens it happens but why force an issue for some no name placeholder. Win the game, say "we're on to Buffalo" at the press conference, and leave 'em in the rearview mirror.

Most of you heard about the early demise of Mike Webster. He was CTE: Case Zero, but am I wrong to think steroids did not factor?

The Steelers have been pompous and hypocritical for decades, but the initial wound was slit before, during and after the 01AFCC. Since then the Patriots have been spraying mace and digging their heals into it. You can understand why they're so salty and feel the need to over compensate for their lack of success against NE.

Like the Cowboys, Steelers may be afraid their collection of Lombardi trophies will be matched or surpassed. Expect more of this from both teams after a 5th NE SB.

My lord I'm tired of hearing this sob story. This sounds like a loser making excuses. Would be freaking hilarious if we went ollllllllld school and not use headsets this week at all, just used signals or play cards.

If am Roger Goodell and I truly care about the integrity of the game, I publish a list of examples of bending the rules so all 32 teams have a very good idea when it's treated like a downright infraction. Years ago.

Why hasn't he done it?

Remember that no-name guy in the Steelers secondary years ago who talked a lot before the game? I seem to recall we targeted him all game long, and then BB torched him in the post-game presser, saying that we'd seen a lot better players at that position before. I hope we see a similar beatdown on Sunday. Those guys just annoy me.

that was this game I think:

You would think that a franchise like the steelers would know that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

The squealer fans are pretty stupid bunch. Soak up the moronicness of the squealer nation:

Sounds like some pre-ass whipping, excuse making to me. What a bunch of butt hurt whiners.

And don't even get me started on the play action fake. What kind of example are we setting for the children with that ****?

My b!tch is interceptions, Patriot defenders know the ball is not intended for them but will catch it anyways.

The Steelers are a team that I have tried really hard to like and respect, given their storied history, but the players and fans just get so butthurt at the Pats' excellence challenging their legacy that they just make it impossible.

It's an impressive history, no doubt, and if Jack Lambert had not faltered at The Preakness they would have added a Triple Crown to their Super Bowl titles.

If we're not pushing the edge of the envelope we're not trying.

Red would be proud of BB.

(And if you're simultaneously a fan of Red and are all in a lather about NE being accused of doing things on the edge of legality, you have cognitive dissonance problems.)

Spot on with your diagnosis Dr @QuantumMechanic.

Red Auerbach and Bill Belichick. Wow.

How far has this organization fallen from the days of Chuck Noll?
Considering their team doc prescribed steroids and other drugs regularly to the team, I would say it's about the same now as then...
