Greg Hardy is training for MMA. I think that's exactly where someone like him should be. His particular set of "skills" is more suited to that sport.

Sorry for not posting a link because I heard it on the radio. It is on Bleacher Report as well, but linking that is hard on my phone.

there is nothing i want to see more then Greg hardy get the **** kicked out of him. Most mma fighters don't look kindly on woman abusers.

although there are some bad apples

Door totally closed on the NFL for him.

He's going to be a heavyweight. If UFC signs him, he may be able to beat a few of the guys in that weight class, as it's not very deep, but if he makes it into the top 10 and has to fight anyone that's actually legit, he's going to get absolutely butchered.

Yeah, he'll be up for it - until someone actually hits him back. Then he'll run from it like the ****y he is.

Is he fighting Rhonda Rousey?

Oddly enough, Ronda is dating a UFC heavyweight, named Travis Browne, who beat the **** out of an ex. Browne vs Hardy would be an interesting fight between two women beaters. Although Browne would likely finish Hardy within 3 minutes.

Would love to see that POS's whimpering face in a rear naked choke hold. Maybe they can pile up some guns in the ring to throw him on once he's unconscious.

Nothing like seeing a violent wannabe alpha male getting his ass handed to him.

If I were an MMA fighter I would try on purpose to not knock him out or make him tap out so i got him for 15 whole minutes.

MMA is highly technical and takes several years to learn the techniques. According to the press release, he's only been training for a few months LOL. This creep is going to get massacred by someone, and its going to be fun to watch.

He's not going to be fighting tomorrow. I imagine it will be like CM Punk, where he takes a couple of years to train before he has his first fight. If he's smart (which I highly doubt) his first fight won't be in the UFC. Go fight some cans in other promotions and gain some fighting experience, and then sign with the UFC.

As much as we all dislike this guy, he's an elite athlete. If he puts in the work, I wouldn't be surprised to see him become a top 10 heavyweight in the UFC. That weight class isn't very deep at all. Having said that, I'm not sure he has the discipline. I could see him trying to jump right into the UFC. He might get by on his athleticism if he fights some unranked fighter or someone ranked 10-15, but pretty much anyone in the top 7 would wreck the **** out of him with ease, if he even makes it that far.
