Boy was I off on what I understood the contract to be. Clearly his signing was not related to Hicks.
Well, he might be something more than camp fodder. Just gotta see.
This draft is deep at D Line and I think they will replace Hicks with a pick.

It'd be easy to find out if he is Mazz, just ask him his opinion on Josh Beckett .Could be. Whoever he is he's a miserable POS who contributes nothing other than his misery to this board. It's a tired old act.
Plus, still have Grissmon and Flowers. Pats have been good at drafting d-line under Belichick's regime so good chance one or both become quality players. This draft is deep at D Line and I think they will replace Hicks with a pick.

Brady threw the Deep well when he had a legitimate deep threat Moss what a coincidence.
Pretty cheap. Hadn't heard [Andre Holmes'] name really connected to anyone. Raiders getting a good deal on a "prove it" type deal...
If the choice is seeing Harmon/Richards playing opposite McCourty and using money to extend Hightower and Collins then I wouldn't consider signing Weddle. The sum of all parts > the singular.
Yep. Another relatively inexpensive young WR who could've helped us is snoozed-over by Bill & Co.
Won't talk about Forte because that milk is spilled. but yeah, i wouldn't mind a couple of veterans getting signed - Boldin, Long, Laurenitis...someone like that. Typically, the best deals can be guys who have already made their money and are looking for a ring, or who want to go out a winner.
You're not going to sign a Boldin to a deal like Weddle just got and there's a big difference between tying up money for one year with an option as opposed to four years. Dead money is to be avoided!
The Patriots have a very solid roster right now, with a couple of fixable exceptions. Give me "prove it" deals or "get a ring" deals, you bet.
Because he doesn't want to play football???Percy to Baltimore concerns me,
Why are we not in on him?
i take it chris long isnt joining the team?
too expensive? or, they worked him out and figured he has nothing left in the tank..
No. Long said he will visit with the teams that have shown interest then go home and think before making a decision
well, Long said he wants to win..no better place then here.
