Yeah no to that given our S position and spending that much more $$ on that position

I'd like to see Ridley and Riley Cooper. Could be nice bargain finds. Cooper is/was a pretty good outside receiver wasn't he?

That's a nice deal for the Ravens to get a guy that is still a top tier safety and still has a lot left in the tank. People forget they were a playoff team in 2014 before injuries and some holes at key positions derailed their season in 2015. One of those holes was filled.

Eh the Ravens were one of the best teams in the AFC before injuries ****ed them in the ass. He made a decent choice. Patriots aren't the only team that wins games.

I can't imagine Baltimore is bad for long, great management and great coaching with a pretty good QB usually doesn't stay in the cellar for long. I think they'll bounce back this season. I mean Baltimore was argumently the 3rd best team in the league in 2014.

. Ravens aside from last year have been in the hunt nearly every single year and have won 2 SBs since 2000.

Years since they won the SB in 2000 Ravens haven't been in the hunt

2002
2004
2005
2007
2013
2015

60/40 In the hunt/not in the hunt

Wouldn't call that "nearly every single year"

LOL exactly, I was about to post this

It's not a question of the schools in Baltimore proper, since it's more likely he'll be living in one of the 'burbs.

Which matters more: that Flacco is good or that he's badly overpaid? :)

Yeah, Weddle would have been cool without a commitment to him through his mid-30s.

It's unfortunate that they have to pay him that much, but he is the second best QB in the league in the playoffs. I'd take him no question if I couldn't pick Brady to lead us into the playoffs.

I think Cooper's one of those "this year is his breakout year!!!!" guys who never actually ends up doing anything because he's tall and fast and very occasionally (like against us in 2011) catches a super deep ball. He's also a piece of trash human being.

Hicks last night Weddle this morning.

If you have an NFL contract and you live in a big city, 99% chance your kids go to private school.

or he probably will live in the suburbs where the local schools are very good

BB will get suspended if we sign Cooper. History of racial comments and goes to a team with too many white WRs. Goodell will claim BB is in the KKK and dock us until 2020.

Pats were never in it

I don't know, a lot of their former core players are old, like Suggs and Dumervil, or have left like Kelechi Osmele, Daryl Smith, and Haloti Ngata last year, and their quarterback is coming off an ACL tear. They haven't done a great job restocking since their last Super Bowl run; they're definitely in a transition period right now.
