Ultimate outside the numbers guy and

The way this team operates now could use said player to relieve pressure from the middle of the field not be the guy. Just be respected enough to carry traffic away from our playmakers. I'm fine with your opinion differing from mine btw

I'm not saying that it isn't a need, it is. But every team still has needs going into the regular season, no team is perfect.

It's more that I think people overstate the need for an outside the numbers threat. While healthy we were on a path to easily being the best offensive team in the league which makes it hard to believe that we absolutely have to have Randy Moss part deux.

But I would give up my maidenhead for Megatron to unretire and come play with us.

They better not let Streater leave.

From SB 42 where he would have won game MVP. He was one of the best players on the field that day.

The total disappearance of Streater from the face of the earth after his breakout season and injury was bizarre. Not sure why he only played one game last season, but he fits everything the Patriots would be looking for. Big, fast, good route runner, and still, at least in theory, has plenty of upside.

How many times have you made me look stuff up for you?
There. End of story. No more.
DW Toys

I've never MADE you look stuff up for me. Not once. I've always done my own research. Again, you've never admitted to being wrong about things even when shown by other people.. That is the end of the story.

Why the hell would Streater want to go to the Jets to be the 3rd/4th receiver?

We are on the same page if you think of it. It would just make things smoother with less traffic around the area we make our bones at. No stacked boxes is all I stress, receiver doesn't have to be Moss he just needs some wheels and the ability to snag a big one here and there. Nothing more or less

Specious reasoning, imo (I just watched that episode of the Simpsons)

I think LaFell had less to do with us winning a title than Revis and the young guys on D coming into their own. We had the ultimate threaten outside the numbers guy and couldn't seal the deal in 2007.

They had a complete team but, offensively, the reason why the Pats output was so much better in the 2014 season vs. other seasons where they failed in the playoffs is because they had wideouts that can threaten every level of the field. Remember Lafell getting open deep against the Ravens and hauling that pass in? The Pats don't win that game without him. Without a guy like Lafell, defenses can load 8 in the box and go man to man in the back end while doubling Edelman and the best defenses (like the ones they see in the postseason) can get away with it with success. The Patriots know this. This is why they were sniffing around Benjamin and Jones.

I cant see the Patriots giving him an offer he cant refuse, so i wouldnt be shocked to see him make the trip to NY tomorrow. Doesnt mean he wont end up coming back though

Streater and Starks are BB kind of moves
Now get Hogan Harvin or Holmes as well as we have solid signings

Streater would honestly excite me more than Sanu. Atleast he has real upside and can play outside. Probably for a third of the price too.

4 mil a year for an aging RB who isn't a focal point is not chump change.....
4 mill a year for a 'starting' RB who plays half the snaps is absolutely chump change. #3 WRs are getting 7 mill.

Get it done BB if he visits the jets hes gone
And we'd be upset about that because ......??? The dude has 10 catches in 2 years, was an UDFA who got plenty of playing time on an awful team 3-4 years ago. Let him go to the Jets, there are WAY better receivers out there.

Pats: Come here with the chance to be the #2 WR or go to the jets and be no higher than the #3 WR..

All aboard the Streater hype train!
