brock makes 18m a year. tom gets 9

bothers me that tom takes a paycut for our gutless piece of **** owner. he should be the highest paid player in the league...

He should but he shouldn't. He knows that and that's why he puts the team into the best situation he can.

Not sure where he got it but they've been reporting that as likely on WSCR 670 out of Chicago for a couple days

Its a matter of time. Once I read there were 11 teams wooing him it's an eventuality he is a goner.

Would the Pats even be able to afford him considering some of the contracts handed out to RB's over the last 24 hours?

Yeah, I'm thinking he gets $5 mill somewhere, not us. Then again, the Broncos didn't think much of him to leave him unprotected, so maybe the public opinion is that he's not as good as the other backs.

They need one RB, one WR and thats it. They wont sign big name FA. They will sign depth guys ...

It's just Loyko talking but if we did wind up with CJ Anderson I'd be a pretty happy man. Would still need a receiver or two.
Get Anderson Matthews and Boldin. Then we have a Hell of an Arsenal for next year.

What the helll

Better hope Collins and Hightower love New England..

This is what night one of the draft will be like around here.

Patriots have reached a 1-year contract agreement with LB Ramon Humber, formerly of Saints. Special teamer/top backup on D.

OK, now who is he.

4/45 for Mark ****ing Barron is why the Rams are the Rams. I wouldn't pay him half of that.

lol went to the broncos forum and someone had a sig with Osweiler saying "it's time" :D.

The Jets are solid, assuming Fitz returns and plays well at QB. Not a bad move by Forte at all.
Jets are mediocre at best. They had a very weak schedule and are losing more pieces than they are adding.

This is ridiculous.

I'm thinking the Broncos burned a bridge with Brock when they benched him.

That's way more of an alliteration than I intended.

If HOU was 4/72 and DEN was 3/45 then HOU was a no brainer.

Curious to know how far the Bronks were willing to go.

Apparently he's 5'11", 232? That's tiny for a LB, gotta figure he's being signed almost exclusively for his ST value. Maybe a Nate Ebner replacement.
