That sounds about right. In one of Bradys WEEI weekly interviews he sort of let the cat out of the bag about Chandler. Part of a longer answer to a question about Chandler he said Scott has been fighting through something for most of the year.Sounds like Chandler has been banged up worse than Gronk for over 5 weeks now. At least if you believe the beat reporters.
Not popular, but if Gronk is hurting badly, I hope they hold him out tonight.
They can get by this Chiefs team without Gronk better than they can get by Denver in Denver with a badly compromised Gronk.
Need to play the WHOLE WAR strategy instead of the NYJets WINTHEBATTLE strategy.
However, if he feels OK, then play him.

The problem is they keep talking about him "playing in pain" but we have no relative feel for how much pain he, or any other player, often plays with. It could mean he looks like Scott Chandler out there or it could mean we won't notice the difference from Super Gronk. Not popular, but if Gronk is hurting badly, I hope they hold him out tonight.
Damn lol.

It would royally suck if anyone important was out. I've been spending two weeks thinking about seeing all the key players healthy. IMO the Gronk stuff is total smokescreen, he's near 100%, he was just having some maintenance work done to keep ahead of the nagging injuries. Not worried about him one bit.
What's Freeney's non-injury hand problem?
So he missed 2 practices during a playoffs week? OK........that's going the extra yard for that "smokescreen".
Getting injury treatment takes priority over practice. Gronk knows what to do when he gets on the field.
Btw, the injury report said he only missed one practice.
