Ok, so you're a troll. That explains a lot.

No, I came here to discuss the weird story we all learned about early today.....

And I was met by cringeworthy posts like yours telling me to back up my accusations, as if I was some media reporter accusing the Patriots of cheating or some BS.

Something went down that probably wasn't an ideal situation, but for asking what was going on, I was attacked by paranoid posters like you, and people saying it was sleeping pills and an accident.

How about we be real about this, and stop assuming things before they come out!? Take your own advice.

My posts have cited to sources, which is how it's supposed to be done around here. Yours didn't, and you've decided to go the troll route. You'll either smarten up or get banned, and life here will go on either way.

I'm really worried we're going to get a huge controversy over an attempted cover up and have to deal with yet another huge round of "the cover up is worse than the crime." Obviously every media report will call into question what else the Patriots have had the police cover up and probably sprinkle in mentions of flop houses, guns, and other ****. There will be giant articles about how the Patriots see and know everything because they have the Foxboro police in their pockets and everything bad can all be blamed on maniacal mastermind Bill Belichick. I would bet anything the attempted cover up of this self inflicted drug overdose gets far more attention and outrage than the reports of a successful cover up by the Steelers and their "cleaners" for Big Ben and his rape did.

oh for chrissakes..it was a dyam Viagra commercial you idiots!!!

Things learned from this board so far

Gronk had nothing to do with it (why didn't he practice today?)

Jones accidentally took too many sleeping pills, lol

FAIR AND BALANCED

If it's already been proven that Rob Gronkowski was still in FL at 7:42am early Sunday morning, why shouldn't we assume that he had nothing to do with it? Obviously, Chandler Jones wasn't at Gronkowski's house on Saturday night either, for the same reasoning. There's plenty of documentation and pictures, etc stating that Gronk had been in FL until afternoon-later Sunday. There's also the fact that the original and very speculative tweet from an unknown source has promptly been removed.

Whatever happened to Jones, from weed to sleeping pills to molly to whatever, is something that will likely be handled this offseason by the NFL and the team. At the moment, he's been practicing and attending meetings. Even if he fails a test right now, he'd still play this postseason.

Actually if he fails a test tomorrow and is already in substance abuse program and on the next failed test is a four game suspension he would be out for the playoffs.

We just don't know if he is in the program.

I thought a first time offense placed you in the program, with second and third offenses being fine able. I thought the new rules stated that it's not until a 4th failed test that a 4 game suspension occurs. As a matter of fact, I believe @Sciz confirmed this earlier on today.

It is we just don't know if he has ever failed a test. He could be on the final step or not that is my point.

I'm guessing that Chandler Jones had a reaction to a pain med that he took that morning; or took some prescription while still having alcohol in his system from the night before, or something along those lines. That's why he went to the Public Safety Center, a block away from his house, on a Sunday morning. EMS may have briefly looked at him and then they did the only thing they could do: take him to the hospital in an ambulance. Considering he went to practice the next day, and police say it was only a medical issue; I'm going to guess that it's not quite as scandalous as it's been made out to be.

Gotcha. One thing's for sure--if he's already failed 3 tests in the past, we don't need to debate which of the 3 players they're trying to keep between him, Collins, and HT.

wow if this is where Gronk was today. The article doesn't mention if this was during when he would have been practicing so maybe the visit was on Monday. But since he was in Florida until Sunday night and then at practice on Monday it was most likely today.

Gronk visits Rhode Island 8-year-old fighting stage-four cancer

That D/C guy should be in big trouble.
