Typical news media trying to connect the dots. Not happening. Daboll is the next OC who this board will want out of town after the first 3 and out. He has earned that right.

No one has a "right" to the job, BB will select the person who's the best fit, period.

You can never score too quickly. It doesn't matter how fast you out the defense back in the filed if you did it with a TD. The problem is failing quickly.

So having a long drive that kills the defense with a thousand cuts can't be better than a lightning quick drive that quickly gets the opposing offense back on the field?

Wrong

A team can surely score too quickly leaving too much time on the clock for a comeback. The hurry up isn't suited for the grind of an NFL season. The Pats trying it and then going away form that style speaks volumes.

BOB was running a better version of Kelly's hurry up offense so it could work but i am not a fun of that offense cause it puts the defense back on the field to fast

I'm surprised the Titans haven't already grabbed him

I'd take him, but there's a zero percent chance he becomes an OC. He'll get another HC gig NFL or NCAA.

I don't want him as a coach, but I had to laugh when reading about him, as the book on him in some respects sounds suspiciously like the book on another coach we all know and love. He can't relate to other humans! He only talks football! He ruined Christmas! LOL (and I'm not talking about the racist stuff so no flaming).

The Patriots have a well-established offensive framework that they modify and build on over time as circumstances and opportunities dictate. Bringing in an outsider with a novel approach is impractical. There's a reason their approach has been to promote coordinators on both sides of the ball from within.

We got a playoff game in 2 weeks and we're gonna discuss Chip coming in as our new OC?

San Fran or Tennessee would be dumb not to hire him as their next HC

No. Just no. If he wanted to come in as an assistant to learn the Patriots offense I'm ok with that.
