I am still in shock by the difference of the first half the season and the second half. I remember talking to people on here earlier in the season about how terrible the AFC was and how we almost have a "duty" to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. This team seem invincible.

Now every time they have the ball all I can think of is "How is this team going to get a first down".

Im guessing injuries have something to do with that.

I remember there was a time on this forum, when certain posters wanted to put certain players in bubble wrap, and spare them for the playoffs...

They kinda did that. Minus Solder, Lewis and Easley were getting a boat load of players back.

Memba that time The Chosen One came off the bench to single-handedly grab the #1 seed ? That was great.

The last two games were tough to watch after how great they looked in the first 10 games.

probably have to beat the bungles then win at denver
daunting to say the last @DaBruinz z dont you agree my little toad?;)

Well, you were wrong then and you're wrong now.

I think Pittsburgh beats Cincy and Denver. And Pats beat KC setting up Pittsburgh at New England

I think Pitts is the most overrated team in the playoffs. They lost to the Ravens and Ben threw several INTs against the Browns. If not for usual Jest collapse, they wouldn't even be in the playoffs.

I believe the Jets would have defeated the Broncos, but I'm not sure about Pitts. I think they will lose to Cincy. I know, I know Cincy hasn't won any playoff games for a long time, but past history has no bearing on this year's playoffs.

I'm thinking we get Cincy and Denver gets KC in the divisional round. I think of all the remaining teams, KC has the best chance of defeating Denver due to their familiarity with them and due to them playing very well down the stretch.

I think KC has a decent shot at going to Denver and winning in the divisional round.

not holding my breath.

worst case, the bengals and texans win. houston has 0 shot at winning any playoff games. dont give a **** about jj watt.
everything is aligning for the donkeys smh

Offense will look much better with Edelman back, Amendola closer to 100%, Vollmer back, Waddle back, Jackson with more time in the offense, and McDaniels going all-out with the play calling.

Defense will look much better with Hightower back, Jones back, Freeny back, Coleman back, Ninkovich closer to 100%, McCourty closer to 100%, Johnson with more time in the defense, and Patricia able to dial up more complex defensive schemes with everyone in there.

The big gains are really Edelman and Hightower. Besides Brady, I would say Edelman is our offensive MVP and Hightower is without a doubt the defensive MVP. Having both back will make a world of difference.

Kansas City should've won both games against Denver this year.

Seriously, go back and rewatch that first game. They lost in the most WTF, flukey way possible.

Denver is lucky to even be in the playoffs, let alone be the #1 seed. Several games were handed to them this year either by stupidity (Browns, Bears), luck (Chiefs) or the refs (Patriots).

Agreed, Denver is lucky to be here and I think they are playing worse than they were then,.

The team we field in 2 weeks will be miles ahead of any team we've fielded since the first half of the NYG Game. That is if he is at least 75%

I actually wasn't surprised by our last two losses. It seemed (to me) that once we clinched the bye, the MO by the coaching staff was to play conservative and keep injuries to a minimum.

Win if we can with what we have to secure HFA. If we don't win, its not a huge deal as we still have a bye. Don't be tempted to put in players that aren't 100% (i.e Amendola) who would definitely help get the win, but at the same time might re-aggravate an injury and end up not being able available for the playoffs.

We've secured a bye - Right now whats important is the playoffs, not a regular season game. We need to focus on our important pieces getting and staying healthy for the playoffs and not risk them to more injury in a regular season game that in the end doesn't really matter too much with a bye.

At least that's what I imagine BB and crew have been thinking.
