He can throw a pretty tight spiral too....

Check out how they just throws a would be tackler aside at the 2:54 mark...Watch him go for 8/54 and TD tomorrow...Hopefully most of that comes in garbage time in a blowout.....

Ever since someone brought up Godfather III I keep calling his this guy....

He might be faster than Ball at the moment.

Short yardage specialist? Couldn't break 5 seconds in the 40 at the combine
Hand-held at the Combine had him at 4.99 and he wasn't fully recovered from his ankle injury. He ran a 4.8 at his Pro-day.

10 1/4" hands , 31 3/4" arms
32 1/4" vertical
9 '04" Broad jump
Shuttle - 4.28
3-cone - 7.09

What is interesting is that he plays the 2014 season at 267 and lost 20 lbs prior to the combine..

From NFL Draft Scout:
Iosefa (6-0, 247) is from Hawaii, where he started 29-of-32 career games played, totaling 512 rushes for 2,218 yards (4.3 avg.) and 21 touchdowns, while catching 60 passes for 438 yards (7.3 avg.) and three touchdowns. As a senior in 2014, he led the team and had a career-high eight rushing touchdowns.

Iosefa was also 3-4 in passing situations with 2 TDs..

I'm really glad they made this move. Iosefa isn't fast or nifty, but he's a strong blocker, runs with power and is a good enough receiver to allow some formation flexibility. Useful addition.

He's a big back, he doesn't need to be fast, he just needs to be able to get some tough yards. Speed matters if he breaks through the hole and finds daylight, but that's not gonna happen on most plays. I would rather have a guy who can get me 4-5 yards most plays but gets caught from behind on long runs, than a guy who is fast enough to take it the distance but only gets 1-2 yards if there's not a gaping hole.

Malcolm Butler ran a 4.64 at his and Emitt Smith was 4.6 plus. Bruschi was way too slow too play LB. Measurables are a part of the evaluation process not the entire evaluation process.
No **** .......

Yep, it seems like some expect, him, to, replace Dion Lewis and are judging him by those expectations.

Yeah, I judge by performance, but when you compare his average to wilfork's lowest, Wilfork ran a 4.98.:D

Would have loved to hand Vince the rock a couple times in the old days, but those days are long gone I'm sure.

Well he's been on the PS for a good part of the season, so that says a lot about his work ethic and what Bill thinks of him.

He seems to have paid his dues and finally has his shot. Let's see what happens.

Belichick on Iosefa:

"Joey played running back at Hawaii and he had a good amount of production there," Belichick said at the time. "But he’s a bigger guy and he’s somewhere between a big halfback and a fullback and so with our depth in the backfield we really only have three guys on our roster there and he’s the fourth guy on the practice squad.

"He’s given us some when we go up against other offenses that have a fullback, he’s been able to kind of be the fullback on the scout team in those kind of situations, as well as give our three backs a break on scout team running plays, that kind of thing. Gives us a little more depth there. He’s done a good job. He’s a smart kid, he’s got some versatility, he’s definitely got some size, and like I said he’s somewhere between a bigger halfback and a smaller fullback, without a lot of fullback background but probably the size of the position."

I'm hopeful. Having a half decent running game will help a lot during the playoffs. Can't have TB throwing 50+ times every game.

Meh... I'm not impressed. We'll see though, he may surprise us

Sophia Coppola starring in that movie was like Ryan Lindley starting in a playoff game. Unbearable
She has "Affleck-itis"....Shes a much better director than an actor.
