forward progressehhh I'm with the announcers i can't imagine that it's correct to have the clock run there
Rex on NFL network now. Claims Bills are the better team.
LOL
Refs blew it again at he end. Receiver was never touched and rolled out of bounds with two seconds left. They should have stopped the clock.
Not complaining though

Rex trying to be all classy now. Lol
I think they got the call right at the end actuallyThis is absolutely correct.
Way I see it is the Pats were totally robbed of a touchdown, but the Bills were robbed of a Hail Mary, which is a longshot at a touchdown.... so I'll be generous and say let's call it even.

He didn't give himself up and no one touched him. The play doesn't end just because the ball carrier is on the ground. He was clearly trying to get out of bounds and succeeded.I think they got the call right at the end actually
Only if you are being tackled or driven out of bounds. If a player is being tackled backwards out of bounds, they get forward progress to the in-bounds spot and the clock keeps running.Don't you have to be moving forward out of bounds to stop the clock? Or did I just dream that?
I think that's the key point... If you are going backwards (or rolling, in this case), and are untouched, the clock continues to run.Don't you have to be moving forward out of bounds to stop the clock? Or did I just dream that?
