The officiating

Our Secondary got shafted. That's all I'm going to say. I'm glad Roger was in attendance to witness first hand the mettle of this team.

I guess it depends on who you ask because many people believe that Pats were the beneficiaries of the refs tonight.

I'd agree with you, however. :)

Guns will be tearing some new ones on film review day...

The treatment Gronk gets from the refs is almost as frustrating as what our secondary went through today.
Ugh so frustrating. You have the GOAT TE getting called for ticky tack crap and some second year primadonna like Beckham Jr getting preferential treatment?

I agree. It's really very irritating. Other teams can rough him and abuse him and there's never any flags, but if he does anything that resembles roughing against some 5'9" DB, it's automatically a parade of yellow. They treat him like he's the Hulk playing football, like he's impervious to injury and unable to be stopped, but needs to be prevented from using his super abilities to harm anyone at all costs.

On top of the horrible officiating, it's inbearable listening to Phil Simms say over and over, "the refs got the right call", "good call by the ref", "the refs called the right one on that play", blah blah blah.

To be fair, he did question one PI call today - theres a first time for everything.

Anyone that didn't perceive the clear intent is either deluded, blind, or not paying attention.

It was a coordinated attack. The Pats, plagued by injuries, overcame it.

I don't often accuse the officials of being in the bag, but it sure seemed like they were. Let's just say they were reffing as if they were VERY aware that Goodell was in the stands.

Did everything they could to help the Giants, and it still wasn't enough.
