We're on to the Giants

So Hankins "the Christmas pooh" is out. So on defense they have a 1 handed JPP; the other Cromartie; and dirty D Moore?

I like our chances to score 35+ in this one.

Hello New Jersey!!!!!!!

Evidently @Wheelman was insulted by this. Live in New Jersey, dude?

To say that they don't have a chance's kind of ridiculous. Eli's surely not his brother. I know the giants have stunk but that offense can put up points. Their offensive line has protected eli well. They have to play better and execute much better.

So I'm talking to a friend of mine on Facebook, a Giants fan, about this game, and it spiraled in to talking about the Super Bowls of course...

Bottom line. He says that he 100% believes we won SB XLIX because Pete Carroll was paid off to call a pass play at the goal line. He wasn't joking, no...

Are all Giants fans insane? God I want to run up the score in this one.

Nothing will ever close the 2007 wound for me. Unless we go 19-0.

I hear ya about 19-0, but I was talking vis-a vis the Giants. I was responding to the poster who was talking about the 2007 and 2011 SB's against the Giants.

If given the choice to go back to the eve of SB 42, I would still choose the Patriots' trajectory over the Giants to this moment - - I get it about the 2 vs 1 SB wins, but the Pats have been far better overall and have a far better future. I'm not jealous of Giants fans at all.

I think many opposing fans are insane. I read on a Broncos forum that BB was somehow involved behind the scenes in getting Blount cut from the Steelers. The Patriots are truly that much into other teams heads.

They don't get a lot of pressure. JPP returning helped them a little with the pass rush. They played better in the red zone this week. Can be very sloppy in coverage but capable of making big plays. Hard to see how the Pats precision offense is stopped by this defense, though.

Btw, Bolden played pretty well in Lewis' absence.

They lost arguably their best defensive player (Hankins) to a torn pec today, so that will obviously hurt their defense.

What Defense??:D

JPP worries me with our injuries at tackle. Even though it was his first game back, he still looked good at times. Would expect him to be better next week.

The giants stink but any given sunday. Tommy knows this team always plays them hard no matter the circumstances.

A Giants player actually admitted that David Tyree used stickum on his helmet catch.

So we should call it 2007* :D

Despite all this talk about the Giants' D being weak, Brady is approaching this as if it were an uphill battle

“We’ve always had a hard time beating these guys, for one reason or another,” quarterback Tom Brady said Monday morning during his weekly appearance on sports radio WEEI. “So hopefully we can get over our struggles and finally go out and play well and beat them.”

I hope we get bad eli. He's hot and cold.

The Citizens watch ads featuring a pudgy (by hollywood standards) Kelly Clarkson and a dopey Eli Manning really reinforced why I never want to wear a watch.

IIRC, the Giants are the only ones the Pats don't have a winning record against. If they win this one, they will have a winning record against every team in the league since the Brady era started.
