Brady getting pissed in the 4th quarter after a sack during a blowout and then throwing a TD on the next play tells you everything you need to know. The man is on an absolute rampage and it is fantastic to watch.

Maybe it's just because I've had a few beers but...

So many interesting things start with this phrase and often turn into great stories :) I have a few "Maybe it's because I've had a few beers but..." stories that I will NOT be repeating.

I'm not even thinking undefeated. I'm not hoping they lose a game either but winning the SB is all that matters to me. Nothing else. I still can't listen to Tom Petty. That was a tough loss.

My big takeaway is that in numerous instances, Wake, Vernon and Suh could have put a cheap shot on Brady. The fact they didn't and appeared to be aware of that speaks volumes to me of how they see TB.

Maybe it's just me but that was a big fear of mine.

Blind squirrel/acorn time -- maybe NFL discipline does SOME good at times.

Watch Rodgers come out and have a quality game, and the analysts will fall in love with him again as MVP.

Rodgers as MVP is a good argument. I would vote Brady but Rodgers is not far off. He is pretty damn amazing.

I don't even want to hear the phrase "The Patriots are undefeated" until every NFC team has at least one loss, never mind anything about running the table.

Can you imagine the hell Patriots fans would catch, forever, if we went through another 18-1 season and lost to an undefeated NFC team?

Analysis of the game?

This will sum it up...

Technical question, since I didn't see what was posted, and there are other times too.

Am I missing a plugin? I am using Firefox.

You're using Noscript or Ghostery, right?

I think Rodgers is an amazing QB, but the MVP this year is Brady's (so far). No question about it. He's done it every way you can, and against some good defenses.

Just a note. Amendola the hero of last game was 1/1 with 11 yards.

Just goes to show you how deep we are right now with weapons.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who immediately goes there whenever I'm scanning through XM and I hear a Tom Petty song. It's unfortunate.

For me, it's really just "Running down a dream." I can handle the other stuff.

He said it was a total team effort and was completely self deprecative in the face of the prodding by the hosts to brag and pound his chest...like we've seen Dallas scumbag criminals do, and Jet moronmouths and Buffalo braggarts. Makes me PROUD to be a Patriot fan and PROUD to be associated as a fan with a team that possesses such class and sportsmanship. Goodell is a rotten scumbag. The antithesis of everything the Patriots stand for. A rotten, moronic, power drunk scumbag that should be facing federal racketeering charges.

Has any kicker ever held both the most consecutive PATs and FGs at the same time? Ghost is money.
He holds the league record for PATs, but the Patriots' record for FGs. He has to reach 40 something in a row I believe to hold the league record for FGs.

EDIT-Mike Vanderjagt made 42 in a row.

Yep. I have Amendola riding my bench in fantasy (which speaks volumes of my lack of WR talent aside from Emmanuel Sanders), and I just had a hard time envisioning him with 3 solid outputs in a row.

Dion Lewis, the running game itself, and the return of LaFell were obviously going to take away from his opportunities.
