Which goes to prove that although you’re a no good yellow bellied heartless muckraker, you're still better than Goodell.
One writer sticking up for another, eh?

@Grendel_the_Dog well the NFL told the NFLPA it wanted to hear from both guys, but they declined to bring them to the appeal. Wonder why
I remember Florio writing about this and saying this was a footnote in goodell's appeal decision. The footnote said that NFL claimed it wanted the NFLPA to bring McNally/Jastremski, but then Florio pointed out that if goodell really wanted to question them why didn't he just call them to the appeal himself?
M. Braun @MBraun99
@BenVolin @PatriotsSB49 how did the Pats push the envelope with Deflategate? IF you were paying attention, you would know nothing happened.

I have been paying attention. NFL didn't prove much. Doesn't mean nothing happened

I made a thread this morning that many posters felt was in bad taste titled "Did Ben Volin Give Alcohol to Minors?" with the OP saying "It hasn't been proven, doesn't mean it didn't happen". Due to the response, I deleted it.

This is a good thing. It's one less idiot you have exposure to.You are blocked from following @BenVolin and viewing @BenVolin's Tweets.

I hope I'm not alone on this, but Ben Volin is arguably the worst Patriots writer I've seen not named Dan Shaughnessy.
The most idiotic thing I've seen him mention in his articles came after the Kansas City debacle, when he said that Brady just had his 4th bad game in a row. Volin clearly didn't watch any of Brady's previous games from that season, because that wasn't even remotely true (Brady definitely didn't play poorly versus Minnesota, and he didn't play poorly versus Oakland). And while the Dolphins game was a bad performance by him, that game was technically a tale of two halves (very good first half, awful second half).
That guy's a serious hack.
you guys know that he has an MBA, right?
he could have gone into private equity
chose sports because it's his passion
i'd say he is fairly sharp
Nice argument from silence in your tweets, Trollin Volin.
Exactly. In the sea of incompetence that is the league, one thing they do really well is leak.Just going from memory here, but I remember someone pointing out that Brady's side was dealing with a limited amount of time during the appeal, so the possibility of bringing McNally & Jastremski wasn't given a high priority compared to the other people that had to testify.
Generally speaking, the idea that the NFL wanted those two at the appeal and the NFLPA didn't bring them sounds a lot like that story that the NFLPA wanted the appeal testimony sealed. When we actually got to see testimony, the NFLPA wanted the appeal made public. Unless there is some documentation out there that supports Volin's version, my feeling is that this another convenient falsehood fed to the media by the league.
Yeah, please. What do you call the guy who finishes last in his class in medical school? Doctor. There are plenty of morons with MBAs.
