I wanted to limit the number of threads I post on a daily basis, but this seemed like an important topic to bring up, and wasn't something that I felt could be overlooked or waited upon.

1). I appreciate that first thought.

2). You're right on with the second part also.

All of the arguments are the same, and the NFL predictably buries the procedural issue regarding Pash part on page 47.

The NFL desperately wants to avoid addressing the Pash point because directly addressing it will only bring the court's attention to Goodell's unexplained refusal to allow one party to the arbitration hearing any access to a key witness who directly oversaw the investigation against him. Better in their minds for that point to be deemphasized in the hopes that it ends up forgotten.

It's annoying that the court can't actually rule on Rog's findings. The league will just keep fighting this because they don't get properly embarrassed.

Well, naturally, the league wants to minimize the importance of the points that undercut its premise. The problem, from that point of view, is that the league was blatant about its misconduct, so it's impossible to hide.

Which is gonna be real tough for them because the NFLPA is gonna continually hit that point.

I see they are going with the predicted "Berman had no right to rule against us even though we are the one's that ran to his court to get it upheld"

Hahaha yup and this will only result in more humiliation for Goodell. He should admit defeat and let it go. But then again he should've tried to cut a deal bacl in his lrivate meetings with Brady. Blunder after blunder.

On a side note, perhaps this will be, pardon the corniness, "more fuel on TFBs bonfire"

His focus and will to win has been scary thus far so if news like this keeps it going then by all means Goodell, continue acting like a jackass.

But they will eventually get embarrassed when the bring it to the SCOTUS and lose.

Your honor, clearly you didn't hear what I said the first time, so I will say it louder until you do.

Lt. Weinberg: "I strenuously object?" Is that how it works? Hm? "Objection." "Overruled." "Oh, no, no, no. No, I STRENUOUSLY object." "Oh. Well, if you strenuously object then I should take some time to reconsider."

Do kessler and co get to respond to this?
