As Chandler Jones has now famously uttered, "We're On To the Jets!". I expect another scrappy battle for two or three quarters, then at some point Fitzy will make a mistake that will make Chuck Pagano look like a genius and we'll pull away for the W. The Rats fans must be thinking this is their Super Bowl and are all probably already constipated, facing a week of being totally bound up before they finally let it all out after they get smacked down by the Pats next Sunday. What do you think?

Have a feeling that this is gonna be a street fight. Maybe even a loss. We usually lose to the jets the first time around or have a very close game then kill them the second time we play them. Not to mention Chris ivory is on fire this season. But I expect Bill and the pats to be ready

Yeah, I'm not really in the mood for more "smack down" talks after grinding tonight out. The Jets are one of the four best teams in the AFC. They beat a crap team while the Patriots just went through an exhausting, hyped up game that the Scott Zolaks of the world assured us they'd win 73-0. It's a quick turnaround to get ready for a game that, quite frankly, means a lot more in the long-term, against a tough team. You could argue it's the toughest game on the schedule, certainly up there. A loss shouldn't seem impossible.

Going to be tough after playing two highly-hyped games on the road.

Cue somebody for it's a carp! game

We can't make fitzpatrick look like the second coming. Need to take advantage of these home games coming up

I would think at Broncos, and AT Jets is tougher.
In theory yeah, but I want to see DEN play some tough teams before I panic about them. Even if you rank DEN and @NYJ as tougher games (maybe @NYG too potentially? Eh.), this is still a tough matchup coming off of two hyped up road games.

chris ivory and brandon marshall are going to be a huge challenge pls their dline vs our injured oline

Those Oline injuries are coming at a terrible time. The good news on that front is that the pats still have the interior line depth, it is the tackles that's depleted, and the Jets are not really the team that should be able to expose that without having to blitz.

This game is definitely not going to be a cake walk.

I don't think this game is going to be as close as some of you seem to think. I don't think it's going to be a 47-14 type blowout either, though. But, that said, this team left a lot of plays on the table last night that you know Belichick is going to get on them for. Usually, when the team has a down game (for them), they come out on fire the next week. And you know there is no love lost for the Jets either. I expect the Pats to win in a relatively comfortable fashion.

I think that they are concentrating on the METS..

One huge advantage is shrine had a concussion and could be out, which could make for a great day for Gronk..

Idk about that. They played us tough last year. That secondary's better. Our defense might have to create turnovers.

The first third of the season has really made it clear that Rex Ryan should not be an NFL head coach. His presence has turned the Bills into the hot-headed, undisciplined Jets, and his absence seems to have turned the Jets into a professional football team.

To cross over Boston sports lines and paraphrase Johnny Most:

"It's gonna be a rockfight out there!!!!"

They still don't have anyone to slow down 2TE sets. The gameplan for this one will be very similiar to the one for the Bills. If the D can consistently move Fitzpicksix off his spot and force him to go to someone else besides Marshall, their offense is dead in the water. Ivory is the main guy in that offense that worries me. He's a punishing type of runner and the Pats haven't exactly been consistently stout against the run yet this season.

I'm expecting a tough game, especially early on. I feel like, at home, we'll eventually pull away at the end, but that defense looks pretty good.
