Like sands though and hourglass.....

“Factually, I personally don’t have enough information to make that determination,” Lurie said, via Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer. “I look back on that game and the Super Bowl as some missed opportunities. I tend to focus on that. But there’s always been talk about that from the time the game finished and continued on until now.”

Lurie said he has “a lot of confidence” in Goodell and his ability to investigate potential cheating violations.

“We’re very much dependent on the NFL being a strong investigative body that will look into everything,” Lurie explained, “. . .because we all want to play on a completely level playing field. . . . We have to absolutely figure out . . . if there’s any advantage being taken. Sometimes it falls on the Commissioner in an unpopular way to manage [the investigative] process.”

On Friday, Lurie apparently believed that it fell on him to give the Commissioner a boost while not believing that it fell on the man in charge of the Eagles organization to proclaim to the world that the playing field against the Patriots was level a decade ago.

I look forward to the suspicions of Pats cheating after they play PHI this year.

This is same BS that Curran was talking about in his column from yesterday. "I'm not saying, but...." "Other people are talking..." I don't have the facts, but....." You gotta wonder...."

10 1/2 years later...LOL

This accusation makes me want to...

Their QB puked because he was out of shape and could not run a hurry up offense, yet they're full of excuses. Pathetic
I wonder what BeliCHEAT did to McNabbs chunky soup to make him sick/choke

:)

Just ignore the static and enjoy the Brady Magic, hopefully he plays to hes into his 50s

Yeah At Verizon its wear football jerseys this month i proudly wore my Patriots Jersey and our president wore his eagles jersey and haggled me calling Brady a cheater and how we knew the plays in the superbowl that Brady made the perfect read i lit him up with knowledge and how hard Tom prepares and I cant help it his QB didnt even know a game could end in a tie and puked on the field i think he either respects me stepping up to him or will be fired very soon.

Go Patriots

"We were too sloppy to win," receiverTerrell Owens said. "It was great to get back, but we made too many mistakes. We could have won and that hurts."

T.O. did a heck of a job," coach Andy Reid said. "I was proud of the effort and they battled, but we came up just short -- too many turnovers -- and against such a tough football team you
can't do that."

Local boy declining an opportunity to take a stand in favor of the team he grew up rooting for and would have given his left nut to own. Sad to see.

The Pats cheated so much it made Philadelphia/McNabb have the "worse clock" management in any championship game of all time..

My wife and I sat and watched the final series as if McNabb were playing in the first quarter of the first game of the season.. we kept saying that the Pats would never let that happen...

You went farther than me. Our attorney came in to do our monthly audit (credit union) and started telling me how the Pats are the new Raiders. I just laughed it off. Of course, being the arrogant attorney that he is, he thought I was scared to debate him on the Patriots. I merely said haters will hate and walked away. I'm not getting into any discourse with anyone outside of this board and close friends. The world is brainwashed and I realize how pervasive it is now. Why would I allow myself to get into a back-and-forth with someone who is not debating to learn, but simply debating out of anger and frustration that the Patriots win all the time. That's not a debate. It's an argument and I don't do those.

The Eagles believe the Pats either filmed their workouts or stole a playbook. Those are two very different accusations which are appeared to be based on nothing other than the fact that the Pats outcoached and outplayed the Eagles. This is another "They seemed to know our plays so they had to have cheated" excuse.

Lurie is just another pathetic whiner. Thank God, he didn't buy the Patriots back in the 90s (he did try to buy them in a bidding war with Kraft, but his uncle pulled back the purse string when the bidding went up to $150 million).

I guess the fact that time was ticking off the clock and even the commentators at the time said it had NOTHING to do with them losing. Nope. The dirty Patriots strike again.

Ive seen plenty of plays in superbowls/playoffs that left me scratching my head, being thankful the other team was stupid

AFC 07 Division game comes to mind, Marlon McGee int Brady with 6 minutes to go, with the lead, , who should have secured the ball better and might have been in the AFC champ game that year. But thanks to Troy Brown. That is a perfect case how pats always play with their heads in a game

It's like running into your ex-GF from high school at a reunion. She has a couple of ****tails in her and *****es about how you dumped her 20 years ago.

Not that I would know...

What exactly did they do to cheat you, Jeff? Oh, maybe they picked the venue (Jacksonville) where 1/2 the toilets stopped working halfway through the game, so Donovan could not use the restroom at halftime, and the rest is history. I guess that's it.
