Insider Dan Graziano said Tom Brady doesn't want to admit any guilt in Deflategate and that makes Judge Richard Berman's urging for a last-minute settlement with the NFL and the union difficult... http://es.pn/1IWCPtw

of course steph stradely has a response

Um. No one, especially NFL, should expect Brady to confess to something he said UNDER OATH he didn't do. Blurgh->

Is this the NFL-based leak we were waiting for? What will be next? @ProFootballTalk @StephStradley https://twitter.com/ESPNBoston/status/631142158179934208…

Typical BSPN spin reporting.

How about:

"...and the NFL doesn't want to admit it set up a sting to frame Brady and the Patriots and that any suspension or fine is bogus."

Noted pedophile, Tom Brady, mastermind of the deflategate scandal and the true identity of the Lindbergh baby kidnapper does not want to admit his obvious guilt and cleanse the stain from his vile, twisted soul, said NFL's unbiased and independent report.

She's so right. Brady already swore under oath that he didn't do anything. But the NFL is insisting that he should confess that he did do something. I'm sure that if Brady now changed his story goodell would then point out that Brady just perjured himself and try to punish him even more

I was curious and I should flog myself, but there's ESPN still spreading misinformation as fact for the willingly uninformed haters.

Wells' investigation found text messages between Brady and a pair of equipment managers -- one of whom referred to himself as "the Deflator" -- discussing the preparation of footballs for the Jan. 18 game against Indianapolis.

Although Wells asked repeatedly for Brady's cellphone, the investigator also testified: "I did not tell Mr. Brady at any time that he would be subject to punishment for not giving -- not turning over the documents. I did not say anything like that."
Brady never texted McNally (who was the "Deflator")

Wells said, on record, he never wanted Brady's phone. The part about no punishment for not handing it over is true.

Sky is Blue, Water is wet, ESPN is spreading lies for its cash cow, more at 11

And any references JJ and McNally made to "the Deflator" were made in May of 2014, not during "the preparation of footballs for the Jan. 18 game against Indianapolis".

Did Brady text JJ before the Indy game? I don't think he did for a long period of time until after that game and when all HECK broke loose.

You should notify them of their error so they correct it. If nobody does, they have no reason to.

Yes, if only Tom would stop being so obstinate and act more like the equitable NFL. Maybe then we could finally put this ordeal behind us.

Lol, typical... If you were under investigation for a hit & run this month, and you said you definitely did not do it, and they have no proof it was you or your car, and in fact the evidence shows that the person actually may have just fallen over on their own and no one hit them... Well, bad news, Ted Wells found a text from 8 months prior that you sent your wife saying "You drive me crazy", so, since you referenced "driving crazy", you definitely were the culprit. 4 months in jail, loss of your license, and additional fines forthcoming. After all, this is "direct evidence."

Hopefully Berman will see this for what it is. A blatant disregard for his instructions to "tone down the rhetoric".

As i said in a follow-up, I don't have a Facebook account to make comments. If I did, I'd ask the people if they wanted to take a Quiz and tell me how many erroneous statements did ESPN make in this short story (and I'd do a word count just to give it some stats).

Graziano: "If the league said one game suspension and an admission of guilt you'd think Brady would have to take that deal"

LOOOOOOL.

I love how the league is trying to create the perception that it's up to Brady to compromise and not the other way around.
