Brady's Emails Revealed in Court Docs

Again, no wonder the NFL didn't want this stuff made public. It makes THE NFL LOOK LIKE LIARS.
I didn't need any of this to know the NFL was lying. I knew they were. Goodell is a notorious LIAR.

Exactly. The LIES in this scenario, which are legion, have all come from one side. Yet people are so willing to believe TB12 is a liar. I swear to god I will rupture something if I think about this too much.

And after this intrusion into his private life now you know why Brady told Wells and the NFL to go pound sand about handing over his cell phone. I would have done it too.
In all fairness to Wells, I think that whole turning over the phone is a red herring. Wells indicated he could live without the phone. He wanted all content related to Deflategate as determined by Brady's att'y.

I'm definitely on Brady's side, but I'm also in favor of fairness, both of which are consistent with each other.

If you are in the corner of "fairness", perhaps you should read the part where Wells goes all self-righteous with the "In almost 40 years of practice....." act.

"Wells: "I did reject it based on my assessment of his credibility and his refusal or decision not to give me what I requested in terms of responsive documents. And that decision, so we can all be clear and I will say it to Mr. Brady, in my almost 40 years of practice, I think that was one of the most ill-advised decisions I have ever seen because it hurt how I viewed his credibility."

I don't disagree with you about Wells' self righteousness. Seems to me that Brady's refusal to turn over the phone so prejudiced Wells that the rest of the interview was pointless. His mind was made up.

All that notwithstanding, it is factually incorrect that Brady had to turn over the phone. We're better off making sound arguments than ones which are easily refuted and undermine our credibility.

I'd love to see someone put together a collection of all the confirmed lies--direct quote or text reference from the source (Blandino, Goodell, etc), direct evidence to the lie. Links to both sources. Tweet that to Curran/Florio/Deadspin/NEPats/Reiss. Get it ALL out there, in one clean group.

My recollection:
Goodell - Brady and his talks with Jastremski
Gardi - letter to Pats
Kensil (?) - Mort's source for bad PSI; followup with Mort reaffirming from 'multiple NFL sources'
Blandino - SB interview, about league knowing about deflation questions
Ravens/Colts - one of the two sides is lying about this, Ravens denied through a statement today but Colts equipment manager sent letter saying the Ravens told them
General NFL - phone destroyed; length of appeal hearing; etc
Exponent - not a lie, but bad science. Links to GOOD science refuting their claims

I feel like a collection like this could be picked up by a few media sources, might be worth a shot if anyone has time for it.

Brady tweaks Goober a bit back in early November:

A friend of Brady sent Brady an email mentioning that Grantland article talking about the eventual end of the road coming from Brady and Manning. Brady replied: "I've got another 7 or 8 years. He has 2. That's the final chapter. Game on."

Another friend sent Brady a gushing email about how Goober needs everything to be perfect, etc. Brady replies "We are some hard working grinders. That's what our team is all about. Our best is still ahead of us."

Yeah, I hate all this. No reason all this to be out but NFL wanted it.

Well, he was right about the team's best being still ahead! :)

Wells indicated he could live without the phone.

Thought he didn't say that until after and clearly he couldn't live without the phone going by the transcript with"Brady wasn't credible after that" and "it was one of the most ill advised things in his 40 years of law" stuff

Oh, really? Ill advised? Actually it was what every lawyer would have advised, wells included.

His friendships and relationships all will be out there with exaggeration.

Brady certainly isn't wrong with either of his responses, but why is this being made public at all!!!???? TB12 has worked harder than any of these guys ever has and has every right to be proud of his accomplishments! This is all just media contrived BS to make a fool out of Brady and has nothing at all that is relevant to the air pressure inside of a football!!

I'm happy to see Tom Brady's emails. I wish I could see all of them. I'd be very curious to see what Tom Brady's semi-private life is like. That being said the emails from deadspin don't seem all that relevant to the case. No wonder Brady didn't want to give up his phone. WTF! Sharing irrelevant info with the public.

Brady might have overestimated saying 2 years, Manning might be done after this season, IMO he's just come back this year to maybe get to another SB but mostly to get some all-time records that are in reach, mainly Most Passing Yards

Don't mind the part about Manning. After all how about all the QBs who shut their mouths and refused to show Tom any support while he was being killed about air pressure?

And all of this illustrates why Brady was 100% correct in not handing over all of his texts. Just look at how people are digging into every tiny email of his private life. A bunch of vultures. They'd have a field day with his text messages.

These are REAL?
