Go-to-hell fires back (thru media)

Of course this was scripted. As soon as the chance of the Patriots, once again, making the Super Bowl became a reality, our good buddy R Stokoe Stalin fell right back into the exact same pathology he has exhibited since taking over in 2006...the pathological need to enforce parity within the league using any means at his disposal.Absolute dictators don't have a sense of right or wrong, they only operate on the "my way or the highway" axiom...right or wrong. This crap will not end until HE is removed...and at this point, he's dug in like an Alabama tick on a coonhound's neck.
Well, in Roger's defence, he made sure to make a big deal about the Jets tampering with Revis and fined them an exhorberant amount of money and made them swap draft picks, so obviously he treats every team with the same heavy hand, right?

You are joking right?
Brady asked him to be there. He said NO. (The flight landed in time by the way)
Brady asked him to testify by phone. He said NO.
Brady is fighting for his reputation and the owner of the team, you know, the one who accepted the penalties, causing many people to think that was an admission of guilt, REFUSED to testify.
Kraft was asked to testify to show support. He declined to show that support, completing the slapping in the face of accepting the penalties in a speech that never mentioned Brady's name, answering the question of whether he hoped Brady would be there opening day by saying he 'hopes everyone who deserves to be there is' and then by abandoning him when he requested Kraft to be a character witness.
How would that have made a difference? It would have made a world of difference. As I sit here I see Kraft going out of his way to not support Brady.
Ill bet any amount of money Brady in no way feels abandoned by Kraft. NO WAY.

Kraft REFUSED to support Brady. OK. Link please.

yes, that was the exact example of insane hubris I'm talking about re: The Omissioner...just a preposterously lenient decision handed down to a team with constant year in and year out "Alosi-dents".

Andy, not looking for links, just your words. I don't recall having seen this. Where did you get this info?

You would lose that bet.

I don't need a link.
Brady asked Kraft to appear at the appeal hearing, he said he was travelling. Brady asked him to testify by phone, he said no, and sent in a letter. Those are the facts. Do some reading if you want to verify it.

Well to be fair, Roger may have just followed precedent and punished the Rats in a manner consistent with previous punishments he has imposed on the Rats.

I suspect that THIS time, just to make sure the Rats understand that he is deadly serious about the integrity of the league and ensuring that ALL teams follow the rules, he had a stern look on his face when he fined them $100,000.

It was all over the board the day of the appeal.
He asked Kraft to appear, he said no. He asked him to testify by phone, he said no.
He wrote a letter.

You threw it out there. Back it up.

It's a fact. I don't need to waste my time bringing you up to date with knowledge that was well publicized.
Just go back and read about the appeal. There were numerous reports about Kraft's abominable handling of it.

nfl network has some brady coverage for the next few hours. pats/colts from 07..then a sound fx followed by one of those top 10 shows...
maybe the appeal announcement is today!

I know man, unbeleivable. He shook his head and wagged his finger. Of course when it's NE you get 25-life for jaywalking.

It's insane.

I don't understand what that means, but the Patriots won the SB, do you need a link for that?

If your on the bash Bob Kraft bandwagon you can count me out.

Unless Brady comes out and says something I'm in Krafts corner. I asked you for a link. I looked breifly and found nothing to back up your claims. Enlighten me with evidence.

Well publicized? I read Curran, Reiss and they never reported this. Wow Is this "breaking news"?

NO WAY!

Kraft did the least amount he could without doing nothing. That's a fact.

Whatever else he could have done, he didn't do. In my book he's gone from STELLAR to PUTZ. But do I matter to the billionaires? Or do WE?

This was widely reported on the day of the hearing.

That is fine, you can support Kraft as he supports the other 31, and does things detrimental to this franchise to help out his buddies. I won't support that.

Again, it was well publicized. Its a fact. If you want to wallow in ignorance and he arrogant about it, you have that right.

He did worse than nothing, he forfeited his right to appeal a penalty that was based on something that never happened. Oh, and it was the largest penalty ever.

I have no idea if Brady specifically asked Kraft to appear in person or by calling in. I do know that it would have meant more to the fans and probably brady himself if Kraft had shown up instead of sending a letter. The appearance is he didn't want to be there so he used the old "I have a preplanned trip to the holy land" excuse. Ha
