Found this Article at New York Times its a good read and made me realize more than ever how fortunate we are to have had Kraft, BB and Brady who turned the Patriots from perennial losers into a Dynasty.

It looks at cities with NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. Looking at their combined Championship Records

Note the reason that NY Jets are not included is because of Yankees.

"Philadelphia
If making a sport's final four were all that mattered, Philadelphia would be a beacon of success. Its teams have reached that stage in an impressive 22 percent of their seasons over the last half-century, a better rate than Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and every other city with at least two teams other than Boston.

Easily Cleveland.

The Cavs lost their starters one by one after looking really strong. It always seems to happen to that cities teams. Even when they are good, something drags them down. Just another chapter in a book with endless pages.

Yep. Cleveland is the most cursed sports city. I'd say Detroit is right up there as well if not for the Red Wings and Pistons of yesteryear.

The NJ Jets.. they deserve every curse they can muster.. then the Indy Colts they deserve the same.

When I think cursed ... I don't care about the stats. The most cursed is Buffalo .... 0/4 is really harsh. Not making it to the dance is almost better than that.

If it was North America, you could put Toronto at the top of the list.
the Leafs suck. (and thanks for trading Phat Phil to us, you want him back)
The Raptors have won exactly one (best of 5) playoff series in their entire existence
The Blue Jays haven't been to the playoffs since 1993
The TFC (North American Soccer League) has finished last in every season of their existence.
and the best we could do for an NFL team was a couple of Bills games a season (but that has been cancelled....thankfully)

Relatively recent, but Houston has a long drought, I believe. I know the Rockets were in the NBA Finals and lost against the Celtics in '86, I believe. The Oilers were good in the late 70s, early 80s, but never won the SB. Astros...

4 #1 picks in 7 lotto trips though...not what I'd call unlucky.

Rockets won two titles in 94 and 95. They've also had some decent football and baseball teams in the last 10 years.

I'll give it a shot.

5. Minnesota- Haven't won anything since 1991. Vikes havent been to the SB since 1976. Hockey and hoops teams (unless you count the North Stars in 1991) have not been to the finals in their history.
4. Phoenix- 2001 w/ Backs was last title...tough Super Bowl loss. Hockey and hoops teams are average.
3. Tie. San Diego and Tennessee- Zero titles. A couple of sniffs...
2. Cleveland- Horrific.
1. Buffalo- Sorry but losing 4 Super Bowls is painful. Hockey has a Stanley cup appearance...in 1999.

I guess Houston and Washington (Nationals, Skins, Wizards and Capitals) is also up there.
