I bet one or two of the top SEC teams could at least pretend to be able to stop the run at some point over 60 minutes. At that point superior talent on the outside would presumably result in a similar score.
Kind of...refs ****ed us big time that day. Like two huge bs PI against our defense and the worst no call PI of all time when Reche Caldwell was mugged in the end zone on 3rd down and forced the Pats to kick it instead of 1st and goal at the one.
That one doesn't even mention the rule changes. After Colts did that their DBs weren't ever called for interference while their opponents were held to much higher standards especially late in games. 06 AFCCG and 07 Pats @ Colts comes to mind as two of the worst one sided officiated games of all time....
