#24-Lamaar Woodley
#28-David Harris

Lets assume that they cannot find a trading partner for either pick.

I am not a Michigan fan(except when they play Iowa) but I do see them on TV quite a bit and every time I watch highlights or tape these 2 guys are always making plays. Now I know that most people are going to say they both have second round grades, well, we don't have 2 2nd rounders, we don't even have one. No way does either of them fall to 91.

Both players fill positions on need and would help with depth this year and hopefully good starter potential by next. I know they are not sexy picks, but it could be just what the team needs.

To me, this would not be the worst draft ever. I doubt we would "reach" for both, but either one of these guys drafted in the 1st round to the Patriots would not make me throw a chair through my TV, like Paul P. for instance.

What do you guys think?

I don't think that Woodly would be worth #24. If we took Harris at #24 ( yes he is rising) and then traded into the 2nd to take woodly along with a DB such as Gattis, I would be OK with it.

I'd like to see a DB drafted round 1, but I would crap my pants in excitement if we drafted both Woodley and Harris.

I'd think 'BB has spoken' and look to see what excitement follows.

It would be the best day for "Michigan Dave" since we drafted Tommy - I'd give money to see his reaction . . .

I like them but unlike others I don't see OLB as a need (with regard to Woodley). If Thomas and Vrabel stay outside we have 3 starters to rotate with an interesting developmental guy in Woods. A little old, maybe, but those three all have several years left.

id be pissed. and scream

WHERES OUR DEFENSE BACK THAT WILL BE ROY?

I'm all for the Pats taking Harris, if he makes it to #24. (I think Denver may take him at #21)

However, where do you play Woodley? Is he an OLB? Who sits, Vrabel or Colvin. Can he cover? I haven't seen much that indicates that he's capable in coverage or even space for that matter.

I'd be cool with it, since I think they are both underrated, and I really like Woodley.

Edit: I would like to get Meriweather, so I would rather find some way to get Meriweather, Harris, and Woodley. I'd be very happy with that.
