Somebody should ask the idiot if he knows the environmental conditions in which the Colts filled their balls and also how the Pats filled their balls. If they were not identical obviously you can't expect the balls to be affected the same way by weather.
King thinks its all just pass/fail. But with science, its not that black and white.
Along with the environmental conditions that both teams filled their footballs with, we also need to know if there were any differences in the temperatures in which each team stored their balls during both halves and at what temperature the footballs were tested at (and whether enough time was given, or too much time taken in taking those readings).
Take the Patriot footballs out of the cold at half-time and test them indoors at 70 degrees and those footballs will still have lost PSI.
If they THEN test the Colt footballs who have been warming up all this time, then those footballs will have regained any PSI lost due to the cold temperatures.
Theres about half a dozen scenarios where the test results are going to be skewed if footballs from either team are allowed to warm up or not be warmed up unequally.
Basically we need to know
1) The exact PSI of the Patriots when tested before the game (not a range)
2) The exact PSI of the Colts when tested before the game (not a range)
3) Were the Patriots footballs out in the cold during the first half
4) Were the Colts footballs out in the cold during the first half
5) At what temperature were the Patriot footballs tested at during half-time (and did the Patriot footballs have time to acclimate to that temperature)
6) At what temperature were the Colts footballs tested at during half-time (and did the Colts footballs have time to acclimate to that temperature)
7) Were the Patriots footballs out in the cold during the second half
8) Were the Colts footballs out in the cold during the second half
9) At what temperature were the Patriot footballs tested at after the game (and did the Patriot footballs have time to acclimate to that temperature)
10) At what temperature were the Colts footballs tested at after the game (and did the Colts footballs have time to acclimate to that temperature)
and finally
11)Who had access to the Patriot footballs in the second half? Were they confiscated or not?
