The media disgusts me. I don't blame Marshawn Lynch for shunning them. I'd refuse to let these idiots make money off my own words too.

There was actually a story a week or so ago that had the local media here in D.C. all up in arms….a Seahawks fan started a petition for the NFL to allow Marshawn not to talk to media without fining him because he so clearly has an anxiety issue about it. Or something like that. Anyway the media personalties could not believe anyone would get behind this. They seemed to have no idea why anyone would dislike or distrust the media to that extent. It was interesting to hear their take, "Just make him talk like everyone else is supposed to! Just answer the simple questions!" without acknowledging how his words could be twisted or how many of these questions aren't quite so simple. Anyway, I just thought it was interesting. I don't really care one way or another about Lynch but it was a nice illustration of the divide between the media and everyone else.

Peter King's voice is like torture!
Everyoen is asking what would be the punishment be if they find them guilty. Why isnt anyone asking what will the nfl do if they dont find evidence.

sounds like the exact opposite. Curran appears to be pointing at the nfl as both conspiring to try and catch the patriots cheating, and putting the integretity of the game at risk by doing so.
I'm going by his debate last night with Giardi on Comcast, which was replayed this morning. He was all over the Patriots apparent lack of ethics and integrity in this matter. I really like Tom and found this really surprising. Giardi was defending the Pats and BB and Tom clearly wasn't. Way out of character for him, but that's what it was.

Keep it coming. I'm just weeding out those who are not intereetsed in having an intelligent debate but rather result to insulting posters for daring to have a differnt opinion than them . I'm not those in Belichick we trust guys, Patriots homers. So look elsewhere for that.

Having a difference of opinion is not trolling. Someone people misuse that word nowadays, So I don't even give it any credence anymore.

I almost always agree with you but have to disagree on this. I don't agree with Curran on that statement but overall think he has been one of the members of the Boston media who didn't join the lynch mob.

I think they need to be called out hard on their behavior, it's as unprofessional as it gets.

I should have made it a bit clearer. Curran is a fool if he believes it will go right back to BB. When there is nothing there, you have to stop going around in circles at some point.

was it one of those split takes segments? they do those a lot where they have two guys debate from opposite sides, even if they both agree. thats what good shows do, they try and see it from both angles even if they are both firmly entrentched on one side, like is the case here. is ready to take the nfl to the woodshed over the sting operation

My god this team must be so fired up right now!

I want this game to be a repeat of last year, except we're playing the part of Seattle and they're now Denver.

I want a blowout of epic proportions!

He has about 6 times as many dislikes as likes on messages he's posted. That's a ton of credibility on this forum...

The first comment on the article mentions this:
I also read a comment on another article here that earlier today on NFL radio it was mentioned that the balls were low by 1 psi, not 2. If that indeed is the case, it would match well with Brady’s apparent preference for a ball to be at 12.5 psi. The question still remains of how 11 balls became deflated, but it definitely doesn’t seem like it was deliberately done.
This is the weirdest story.

Anyone hear anything about that? If true that'd be a HUGE difference and the 'science' side of things very well may be the deciding factor.

or it can effect the team the other way like it did on tomase's report.

So far we only have Mort's "2 PSI below standard" report.

Dear diary,

today i have begun my war upon fnordcircle's QOL(quality of life) this war of attrition looks to be a long, and hard fought one. May the gods be ever in my favor, and hopefully fnord stubs his toe seconds after seeing I have disliked another of his posts.

Is anyone else slightly worried that Brady might have to change up his routine or whatever he does with the footballs in order to make EXTRA certain they're above the PSI limit for the SuperBowl?

I was distraught but then your post made me laugh undermining your efforts to ruin me.

Except this is all about slightly less air in a football, during a game that was a 38 point blowout.

I doubt any player is losing sleep over this.

Nothing you say on this forum will have an impact on the quality of my life. But why be so negative for no reason. If you read through my posts, I'm sure you'll find that I've been very balanced on this issue. It's only appearing as time passes, that there is less and less to this "scandal" and the media has made a mountain out of a molehill.

I'm worried about how bad the ratings will be when this team comes with a 2 ton chip on their shoulder and lights up the scoreboard.

No. Because he played better with the second half balls. Plus it sounds like he practices with garbage footballs.
